I think the plants will be fine, you have only had them in there such a short time and once you water it in it will be liking flushing them. The only thing I was concerned about was if it was an open bag where bacteria etc had been growing in.
No, please complain, it makes me feel better
Guess what I think I stuffed up again!! My brain and memory is so not working properly since being pregnant. You know how I was soaking my seeds, well I just read that the bleach solution should be 10% not 20% and should be soaked for 5 mins then rinsed not 24 hrs!!! Put them in this arvo but they were bright white with the outer case see through. Don't think they will germinate but I will put it down to an experiment Just spewing cos now I only have 6 chocolate scorpion seeds left, the one I was most excited about. I have never had so many of these problems before and just put it down to not thinking straight. Oh well will see in a couple of weeks....
Oop trippa, what light source are you using?
I just drop water onto the seed shell constantly to keep it moist and eventually the little buggers just fall off. But the key is they need constant water applications to stay soft. It always works for me.
Some advice (again) my Aji Lemon Seedlings new growth are both very pale yellow/green and slow growing. They are in decent potting mix and I have just given them (last night) a weak (1/4 strength) foliar feed of Ocean mist fert and Seaweed extract.
Anyone have any experience as to why they may be like this?
My Super Chilli's new growth in the exact same soil (Albeit in different pots) is dark green.
Its too early to judge the Bonda and Numex Twilight seedlings at this stage as they are younger.
I'll try to get some shots up later.
Any Advice??
Best of luck Wildfire with everything!!
Is it all the Aji Lemons or just one or two seedlings in particular? I have on the odd occasion had one seedling out of a heap just come out like a white colour with yellow leaves and very slow growing. Nothing was done different to that one to the others so just put it down to a dud seed and chucked it. If it is pale yellow it would suggest nitrogen, not sure what is in your ocean mist but you think if it was in good potting mix and still young that nutrients wouldn't be a problem. Photo will paint the picture a bit clearer.
Thanks again everyone for the well wishes.
