JR nice list, you will be having lots of fun this season!

Got my setups today. Tried putting it together and it ended up upside down as there was no instructions so will wait till Adam gets home to help. (Probably quicker if he does it anyway) ;) Plus I can't lift the clay balls

Ok I need some help here tried getting buy some unusual seeds from suppliers but it looks like It ain't gonna happen. If anyone wants to trade or something I am up for it.

I would really like to go a superhot that is not on my profile growlist. The quirkier the better.

Don't mind throwing ya a few $$$ if necessary.

What about some Barrackpore? They rock harder than Eddie Murphies foul language! Also Choc Bhut, Choc Fatalii (not super but still sounds nice). I'll see what i can throw your way after worky poo. Oh and you do have T.S. Butch T right?

Gimme ya addy bruda.

Have a look at my grow list, Joey, and PM me if there is anything you are interested in. Running low on a fair few varieties now so I can't spare everything and no guarantees I will be able to spare more than a few seeds even of the ones I can, but more than happy to share what I can. :)

I grew the Choc Fatalii about 2 seasons ago, almost ripped it up cos everyone said it had no heat, but mine did! I think they were quite good. Def a cross of something and doesn't quite look like a fatalii (thinner) but I was happy with it.

Hey Candice how did ya go with the setup? I’m sure Adam would have worked it out.
Hey who needs instructions anyway, half the fun is working out what goes where :)

As you know with the Greenhouses if you followed those instructions it wouldn’t look anything like a Greenhouse

It was easy and could've done it myself but couldn't find the rubber mallet. You are going to laugh when you see how easy it is!!! :)

We are going to get a T piece to join the 2 pipes so we only have to cut 2 holes in the lid of the reservoir instead of 3. So almost finished. Just have to put the light up and build a wall around it then I have to clean out the clay balls and plant.
Here are some piccies:

and these are my babies that will be going in:

Out of interest (I haven't looked it up much and haven't had this prob before) but does anyone know what this is (see below)? These are plants that were in my back garden bed that didn't do well. They didnt flower and I just ripped them up for the greenwaste collection. They had some sort of tiny white fluffy looking insect Thrips?? on the leaves and then in the roots and soil surrounding it had this white stuff. The season before I had a pepino plant that had mealy bugs and the white stuff in the soil. I ripped it up and drenched with confidor but now it seems to have spread in the soil to the other plants. I haven't had thrips before so not sure if it was that on the leaves. I didn't get any pics but have a couple of plants out the front with them still on so will take pics when it isn't raining so much!
Any help would be appreciated!!!

This is another prob altogether but only just started happening and have thrown it out now. I thought perhaps to do with the wet weather we have now?

I have had that white ash looking stuff too but it didnt seem to bother my plants. Would love to know what it is as well.

Well I know my plants didn't do great mainly to our extreme heat temps with no cool days or rain in between and they also had spider mites and the other white bug on it, since the white stuff in the soil has spread and onlyhangs around the roots of the plants I don't think it is good. I was considering to give that garden bed a break this season and try and give the soil a bit of revitalisation but it would be such a waste of space and then I would have no where to put all my plants with my list that seems to be growing everyday!

The setup is looking great there Candice  Did it come from warton Rd? That's where I first saw the setup.

The problem you have been getting is exactly the same as mine. The past couple of years have been shite because of this :(
I am led to believe it is a Fungal problem, but can't seem to get rid of it. Might have to end up starting over again from new and sanitise everything(oh the pain!).
The plants go stunted and also aren't as healthy as the others which makes them excellent targets for those *@#%@* pests!!!
Seems to bring down the natural immunity to disease/pests in the plants. All the plants seem to have brown roots which also indicates root rot?

Yep that's where i got it from. Gotta go back today cos they didn't give me enough expanded clay. Is this exactly what you were thinking of with the Bato buckets? i was also considering a couple of other options but in the end thought this had the most advantages, cheapest and easiest to use & move. I prefer to grow in pots rather than the channel as well but almost considered that option.

Oh I didn't realise you had that problem as well. Have you been getting any white bugs on your leaves as well? Some of the roots were still white it was mainly the older ones and tap roots that were brown which can just be age. Since it was so dry I'm not sure if rot would've been the problem? But yes agree that it could be fungal or bacterial. Fungal is easier to treat than bacterial though. Just need to figure out what it is now and how it got there. Perhaps the bugs spread it also?

Some of these were stunted but also just dropping their leaves and flowers. It was the chocolate scorpion that I hated ripping up the most! I ended up leaving 2 there just because I couldn't bring myself to throwing them out without seeing fruit and thought there may be a slim chance of getting one! Prob best if I get rid of them though.
