Wrightdaddy's 2012 grow log

I've been reading everyones grow log figured i should start my own. I have already started a few different kinds starting the others tomorrow. I soak my seeds over night in plain water then i plant them in 4in pots 4 kinds per pot 2 seeds each then I transplant them into there own 4in pot when they show second set of true leaves. For lighting i use a double four foot light fixture with 2 daylight bulbs 80 watts. at about 6in they get transplanted into a one gallon pot then they get put under two four foot light strips with three daylight bulbs and one grow bulb. they reside there till they go outside i know its a little low on lighting but its just to get a head start before they go outside once out side they go into 3 or 5 gall on pots depending on size of plant. for soil i mix roughly 1/2 compost 1/4 peat 1/8 perilite 1/8 vermiculite. ill post pics later just have a couple sprouts now.

Well I just got back from my local hydro shop where I bought a bunch of goodies for my plants. I got some calmag plus some seaweed extract cold pressed and some mykos for when I pot them up into there new five gallon homes.also bought a bag of worm castings. Things are getting exciting over here. I'll take some pics and post them later. Happy growing and thanks for checking out my glog.

Hey Chuck,

That Bhut/Douglah cross sounds pretty wicked. "Red Missle"....those chilis fit the name.
The worm castings are a nice addition to container growing. I've got a few bags in the garage waiting for the outdoor planting.

Well wish me luck ive been watching the weather and im pretty sure im potting up most of my babys on sunday there going into five gallon black pots. with expert gardner potting soil with a handfull of bone meal half a handfull of chicken manure and a handfull of worm castings and a tblspoon of mykos. then I will be starting the fox farms ferts. big grow, big bloom and later on in the season tiger bloom.

Good luck...I'm still debating. I am afraid the cool night time temps will slow them down. Going to have to do something soon...I'm probably going to go for it too.

Good luck to you!
