I've had a Veitnamese "bird" type do the same thing except not quite so long and it ripened much earlier than the rest of the pod.

Either add more intake openings or just add a booster fan to your intake blowing in to equalize the pressure. Since your using plastic for your walls you could also try using dowel rods to reinforce the walls so it doesnt try to the walls inward.

Im growing some in an indoor breeding tent and a few outdoors in a small greenhouse until next spring. The indoor plants will be grown with a Douglah to get a few pods of F1 cross seeds.

Like Willard3 I trim mine back to 3-4 internodes and trim down the roots to a small fist sized ball then transplant to small 1/2 gallon pots under T8's inside.

Everyone make sure to pre-soak your seeds especially if planting straight in soil. I got 100% germ rate with temps between 90-92F with the baggie method. It shouldnt matter but I ordered mine straight from Ed not PepperJoe.

I know I've read that most 7 pots and scorpions can be traced back to hobbiest growers in Trinidad but I wish we knew more like what parent plants were selected for breeding or possibly even what traits they were selecting for other than the obvious heat and sweetness.

11/12 sprouts in 7-9 days using the paper towel/baggie method on a heating mat...the 12th sprouted but a bird must have eaten it as I only have a hole left.
