    harvesting billyboys harvest

wow!! look at all of those!! I'm jealous! All my plants aren't growing too fast, and are nowhere near producing any seeds. Hopefully next season. What do you do with all of those chilli's. Do you run a business? I want some chilli's!! send me a pm if you want to gift/sell any of your harvest :)!

    Home Gyms

What are your goals? If you're serious about getting into shapes, free weights are the best thing. Anything you can do with those home gyms you can do with some adjustable dumbells. Get a bench and a barbell setup and that will be far better for you than a home gym.

    My Naga Experiments

My naga's are only seeds in the ground at the moment :(! If they sprouted and I got just one pod this season so I could have my first taste of a Naga I'd be happy! And you have a whole bowlful!! I hate you out of jealousy :(

    HAIL!!!!

That's not good fisting_mayfield!! I didn't get any at work, but I just remembered, mum said we got a bit at home. I should go and check, although apparently we barely got any at all. I'm more worried about my plants getting diseased with all this rain we are having this week :( And Pam, as for...

    Help!! Chilli plants infected?

Well, after I cut off all of those leaves and binned them, it seemed to get rid of most of the aphids. It has also been raining for the last few days, not sure if that has knocked some off. But the plants are looking 100% healthy. The one that had the aphids is the biggest I have, and there are...

    Help!! Chilli plants infected?

Fertilizer? They grow in the dirt outside in the garden and that's it :P At the present time, I don't see a need for fertilizer. They grow more chilli's than I know what to do with already, and are quite large and healthy! Except for the few aphids! However after cutting off the dead leaves, it...

    Another Aussie Hot Head!

Welcome!! With the amount of Aussies popping up I think we should rename this site. Maybe something to the effect of "thehotpeppersdownunder.com" or something. Maybe even "crikeythatsahotpepper.com". Any other suggestions?

    Help!! Chilli plants infected?

Thankyou! I was considering these, but I wasn't sure how exactly they work. I've been doing some searching online. Apparently Marigolds are one of the Aphids favourite plants. This is why they can be helpful. The Aphids will goto the Marigolds instead of other plants, then I guess the ladybugs...

    Help!! Chilli plants infected?

Thanks a lot! I cut off the effected leaves and binned them. This seemed to help a bit. I'll try the soapy mixture as well, thanks! I heard planting Marigolds can attract aphids away from your chilli plants. Also, is there any way to attract lady bugs to come and protect your chilli plants? I...

    Help!! Chilli plants infected?

Hi, I'm growing a few chilli plants at the moment. They are growing really well, but I'm a bit worried one has started to get sick! There are chilli plants next to it of a slightly different variety and they don't seem to be affected yet, but I'm worried it may spread. These plants are all in...

Hey, no I haven't met him. I did see his website last night thanks to this forum however. I've just purchased a heap of seeds from a place in QLD: www.chillibird.com. Maybe next season! Although I'm still about 30mins from him, as I'm on the Sth side of the coast near Gosford. If he's running...

    Hot Sauce Horror Stories

I was at a mate's birthday lunch. The owner of the house were an elderly couple. They didn't eat chilli's but had a lot in the garden just because they are a nice looking plant! Anyway, we were picking small ones and hiding them inside cream puff/prefiteroll dessert's. It was all fun and games...
