243 It doesn't kick, It doesn't tear up a lot of meat and the deer go down. I use a 6mm but they are getting hard to find and ammo selection is limited.
I use one of these panels and two cfl's to overwinter my 5 Thai plants. The plants are now 25 months old and still doing well. I get some flowering during the winter but nowhere near what I get during the summer. The main thing is that it keeps the plants alive and growing over the winter.
Try putting the bottom strand at 6" off the ground. Just high enough to get the Weed Eater under. Your problem might be groundhogs and not deer at this point. I have put up a one strand electric fence 6" up and it kept everything but box turtles out of the garden.
I am sure that the mother wasn't far. They usually go off to feed and come back several times a day to nurse. She probably saw me even though I didn't see her.
I used snuff for twenty five years. Snuff has four times the nicotine of cigarettes. I quit three and a half years ago and still miss it everyday. I will not go back. Good luck and keep trying to quit.
I keep dried seeds in the freezer for future use. In case my current plants die, I have backups. I have retrieved seeds from the freezer after years and still had them grow.
They were only outside long enough to get a pretty good case of aphids which I have since killed. The rest of their life has been in that window sill or on the floor under the light. It must be doing something, the winter solstice is less than a month away and they seem happy.
I shot mine with soap, let sit for 20 minutes, hose with a strong fan spray to get the soap off and keep from burning the leaves, let sit in indirect light for the night to dry. I did this every sunday for eight weeks. Been bug free for three months.
The LED may be bunk but I still use it this time of year when there is less natural light. My Thai's are still blooming so I will keep using it. Will they do as well without? I don't know. I don't really want to risk them. They were a year old in July and am on my third harvest this year. I'll...
Not super hots but I have had 5 Thai's growing in my bedroom window supplemented by a 14 watt LED unit ($30.00 on EBay) plus 2 CFL's. That's about as cheap as you can get and the plants were a year old in July. Plus they are still blooming.
As for Much Chagrin? Yall can keep Dick Rod. Please, just send us the buy out money he owes us.
