    hybrid Hot Bell Cross?

In the end of 2010 I grew a Bell Pepper x Bhut Jolokia F3 hybrid plant. Seeds of it I bought from Fatalii who had made this cross. The flowers of it had quite interesting coloration.   Fruits were quite small   The heat was typical for C.annuum hot varieties (so to say "dry") and its level...

preservation Nice Mild Pepper For Pickling

Don't mention it! :)   I think you're right that Chervena Chuska (червена чушка) are Bulgarian words and they mean just a red pepper. :) Russians use a word "perets" instead of Chuska and Chervena Chuska sound like krasniy perets (red pepper) in Russian

Don't mention it, Sawyer! By the way, last year I used Fatalii with orange-yellow fruits and Pimenta da Neyde in my breeding test. So I got a red fruit at my F1 hybrid plant. Can anybody explain me why it's red?

    PI 281429 (C.chinense)

Yesterday it was a taste test of the first ripe pod of PI 281429 cultivar. I cut the fruit in half and took a smell of it. Its aroma was typical for C.chinense varieties and had average intensity. So I bite a little piece of the lower side of the fruit and felt no hotness. At all... Then I...

    PI 281429 (C.chinense)

Dozens of flowers... and only 2 pods. :tear: But one of them is already ripe. It passed only 117 days after seed sprouting. IMO, fine result for a C.chinense variety .
