I think one is nettle but I'm not sure, and I see the other one all over the place but I forgot what it's called  

I found a few of these, no idea what they are, I plucked like 3 of them before considering they might actually be a good bug.  

Or will I need some kind of cage/trellis/fence for them to crawl onto?

I've used Plant Success - Granular with no visible success, and I've tried Xtreme Gardening Mykos that doesn't really seem to be doing anything at all either...what are your experiences with it?
