D3monic's 2015 Glog. Lots of Pods.

I had a great 2014 growing year and can't wait to get started on 2015. Had some issues with overwinters and aphids but I ditched them and nuked the basement. Here is last years Glog link

I just went through and cataloged my current seed list. Built up a bit of a collection over the course of the winter.

Edited seed list to just a drop box file on 1/31/15 CLICK HERE FOR SEED LIST If you have anything on my wanted list feel free to give me a shout.

I will keep this first page updated as I add things to the grow. Many still to get germinated.

My wife wants your setup.  Been after me for years to put up a fence like that and raised beds.  Maybe next year.  Your plants are huge, you need to get them out soon.   Unusually warm for us already, but cant see far enough out yet for me to put anything in the ground just yet.

It was a lot of work but wasn't too bad. I got lazy and just laid heavy weedmat ontop the grass and just desodded under a few of the beds then laid thick mulch down ontop of the weedmat. I could have laid it out a little better to get more raised beds in there but it serves its purpose. Hopefully all my plants will fit in there. The smaller ones will go in the small raised beds along the fence perimeter.

Thanks lol, there's a pond and stuff next to it as well it just needs to be cleaned up. Full of algae and gunk. Going to order some grey tree frog tadpoles again this year for it. Hopefully I will establish a permanent residence for them. Last year I had one or two that stuck around all summer always sleeping ontop my pablanos. They are native to the area but never see them outside that situation.

I brought the plants out hopefully for the last time. I'd like to start planting out today but theres storms with 20-30mph winds forecasted for tomorrow.

My Bolsa de dulce plants throwing two different kinds of pods.

Round

Bullet

Planted a few herbs and a row of spinach in the garden. Sage popped back up from last year. So did a ton of mint and dill.

Protected the plants from the wind a little bit. Going to risk leaving them out overnight. Get them used to the rain and wind. Hopefully it doesn't storm too bad. I watered them good before I brought them out. They should be good until I get home in the morning.

Plants seemed to of grown a bit over the course of the day.  Lights are up as high as I can get them. I'll have to adjust that bottom shelf if they are going to make it out to next week before planting.

Over exposed sorry, i'm tired

I stopped at home depot to see what they had .... seedlings, compared to these they had seedlings

Leaving them out again while I sleep, supposed to storm maybe. They could use the wind n rain I suppose.

Wow, those plants are freaking huge, for the amount of time you've been growing them. They look great. You're going to have a jungle :).

Get those pepper trees in the dirt.

I want to but next week there is 3 nights that are going to be in the low 40s, i'm worried about possible frost. I'd hate to get all them out and kill them.

Thanks, I can only imagine how big they all would have been if I had room for larger pots and elbow room. They are so packed together it really limits the room they have to stretch their arms.

Hopefully they go nuts once they hit the ground.
Guess it's time to bring the plants back in.. really tired of running all these to the basement one tray at a time.

I hope my Pimenta de Neyde pods have that color. The foliage looks exactly like your Roxa.

Pretty sure they will, all the pics i've seen of the pods where big and purple
Gardens are coming back nice this year. I did all the landscaping last spring.

Lots of petunias popping up between the stones voluntarily.

Pond needs a good cleaning, columbine doing really well this year, lots of flowers on it.
