Hottest Wings

Great. Now y'all have me jonesin' for wings & nothing's going to be open til the 26th. Thanx a lot.

I made wings for myself a few months ago. They actually turned out great despite the fact I was using grocery store wing sauce (a gift from my aunt) w/ some Da Bomb thrown in. I'll have to do that again soon.

Also...I've had Hooter's 911 & Three Mile Island sauces. From what I remember both of those hurt like hell (I get their boneless wing sammich). However, I haven't been there for a couple years & my tolerance has waaay increased since then. It would be interesting to see how I handle those sauces now.

PP the QSL you visited is actually in Council Bluffs Iowa and not Omaha. I didn't think there was one in Omaha but when I seen your post I had to check. Never been to one before, think I'll give it a try.

yeah your right I was across the river in iowa. it's right by the casinos and bass pro shop.

Hooters? It's one of the worst places to go for if you want really hot wings. I've tried both the Three Mile Island and 911 sauces, and they're only a tiny bit warmer than Tabasco. Very weak.

Hooters has food???

Heh, yer in Chilehead territoy now....careful what you wish for.

Tell Defcon that....even I am a bit 'fraid of the Zero wingz...it's not normal extract stuff.

Then there is the Stillmanz Naga Wingz of d00m....

Around here, habanero sauce is a starting point.

Yeah well I only put habenaro because that's a sauce that I always have liked. It's not my favorite, but it's a solid. My rock if you will. When in doubt, use habenaro.:)

Ha! Na, I'm not into that kind of stuff. Plus I don't want to spend the money to travel. And if you want to know the truth, Buffalo Wild Wings isn't my favorite place to get wings. In fact they don't even have one in my town.:( But buffalo Wings are my favorite food, and the logo only backs up my username. And i've had there most spicy sauce and it wasn't anything special. I'm also not just about the hot factor but I'm mainly about a good flavor and taste and then the hottness factor.:)

Good, I'm glad to see you didn't succumb to the cookie cutter commodity sauces. Perhaps you should check our stuff out.

Yeah, I was checking out your website and some of the stuff looks pretty good. I'm accustom to just the store bought, applebee's, chili's kind of sauces, so which "defence condition" do you suggest I start out with? I was thinking #2.

I would start with the #2, it's a good balance of flavor and heat. They are all traditional Buffalo-style sauces. The #1 is a combiniation Cayenne/Habanero mix, which most find a bit on the hot side. The DM MKII is in a league all by itself.

John, the timing of this is funny. I just e-mailed Maggie an hour ago about my order, and mentioned that my favourite wing sauce is Defcon 1 with a blast of either DM MKII or CaJohn's Z...Nothing Beyond. Either version will light you up... :flamethrower:

Geez - I see suicide wings on the menu for lunch...I'm starving!!!
