me and my brother in law built this new "grow-box"
newgrowbox.jpg

I'm gonna put a fan or two in those holes .... to keep the humidity down when the box is going to be closed

this is how it looks now.... in my bedroom ... the wife said something about someone who's a little crazy but I don't know who she's talking about

Later on in the season, in march, I'm also going to start some tomatoes, lettuce and pumpkins .. but that's the whole other story :)

Now it's time to do some waiting .. let's hope they'll all gonna pop soon

Sounds like you've got a plan, man!

My wife challenged me with a new task this year; an indoor herb garden, hanging on the wall. (!!????)

That'll be fun to try to build / light / water.

it is an interesting challenge ... I wonder how are you gonna approach that ... will follow your glog for sure!

+1 Trent  #19.  But I would't worry too much.
When I get a leggy seedling, I just transplant
it deep and they do just fine.

I do really like a fan on my plants - makes the
stems like little tree trunks.

well, some of them will soon be ready for transplant .. so I don't worry too much :)
wouldn't it be boring if we'd always grow perfect seedlings... not that I ever did

I thinks I need to worry more about keeping a fan on when there is sun light on the grow box... almost fried my sprouts yesterday
now that would really suck.... hope it won't happen

I'm gonna be adding a few varieties to the list soon (probably the weekend), since the "EU seed train" stopped by my place.... I just have to pick a few... don't have much space left but it's gonna happen :)

also
Bhut Jolokia and Fatalii yellow sprouted today... so.. yeah .. it's a fine day today.... the majoritiy of seeds sprouted and I'm just waiting for a few more.. but if they don't sprout.. I'm gonna try and replace them with the varieties I got from the EU seed train

Germination sounds good.  How many plants do you think you will wind up with?

If your experience is similar to mine, the vast majority
of hooks appear in the 6-15 days after seeding.  After that it's just trickle time!  It
is tough when one of the 'tricklers' is a variety you really want

a lot :)

I added a few from that EU train today, and also some new ones rghm1u20 sent me just the other day

Annums: KINIZSI paprika (sweet), Cherry Bomb and Apache  (I really need the milder ones on my list, so my wife and friends don't feel neglected)
Baccatum: Brazilian Starfish and Aji Brazilian Red Pumpkin
Chinense: MoA, Moruga Red TS, Orange Lantern, Devil's tounge and Dorset Naga
Frutescens: Bangalore Torpedo

So yeah, the list is getting larger by the day ;)
I'm gonna update the first page soon to add new ones and also who are they from

yeah damn "tricklers" ... I know exactly how it feels
but as it turned out, yesterday I saw the first Aji Umba hook .. so there is another one

added just a few this evenenig.... these are really the final ones... i'm 99.9% sure :)

Annum: Golden Cayenne

Chinense: Habanero Chocolate, Habanero Maya Red, Habanero Brown, 7pot Jonah, 7pot BS Red and Reaper
- all sown on 13.2.2015

so that's 38 varieties .. times few plants each .... that's a lot for me... I wonder where am I gonna plant these if they all sprout
gonna have to give some away for sure

replanted my leggy Serranos into small 2dcl pots and that's it... enough for today... a few others are ready to transplant but not today, it's been a long day

I did a little transplanting these days... Fresno, sweet Kapija paprika, Thai, Lemon drop, Chupetinho, Caribbean Red habanero, Wild Lombok and Goatsweed - they all needed to get their own pot... I have so much of them.. they popped up like crazy.... so I'm hoping I can give extras away because I hate throwing away growing seedlings
I need to find some growers around here

and I'm really eager to getting those LED's from China... I mean the plants are eager too :)
we need more light!

gonna post some pics when I organize them more... I feel lost sometimes..there are so many :)

You've been busy, my friend!

Good luck finding space for all your plants.
Once you get your LED hooked up you'll
have to fence them in!

new hooks in last couple of days: Bolivian Rainbow, Hungarian Hot Wax and Orange Lantern

don't know about fencing them in (that would be incredible :P ), but I sure hope it will help with the grow... I really hate looking at some of the leggy seedlings I have... but it's the same story every season for some varieties :shh:

guess what.... got them today
I just hope they will work as they should

I've been busy and managed to install them ... but will need some more "pimping" .. cable management etc.

first, I gave them a "test run"...
newleds1902201501.jpg

then I installed the majority in the growbox....
newleds1902201502.jpg

I love the color
newleds1902201503.jpg

we'll see later if they make a difference ;)
