off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Morning all - another Monday off, it's Commemoration Day in France so a public holiday.
I'm beginning to enjoy these 4 day weeks :D
Mr Tinks is off to the celebrations but I'm staying home to play with compost. As long as one of us shows our faces then that's enough.
The usual planned for today, potting on and sorting out the chilli plants for customers and, more importantly, for me :dance:

Good morning. Ratat, that field of tulips is sensational. Beautiful. I cannot imagine planting that many tulips and have them all come up. Someone knows the secret.
Spurts of rain predicted here all week, so we tilled in leaves and compost into the gardens. One will need to be redone as it was too wet - the same one that got flooded last year from the neighbor’s water main break. I wonder how well it was fixed.
Coffee group, Monday errands, etc. Plants outside, rake the tilled areas, get ready for Saturday’s swap. It’s nice to be outside. Chuck, how did son do at the track meet?

Good morning. It's 71F (22C) on its way to 85F (29C). It's cloudy now but should clear up in a bit. We got a little rain from storms that rolled through early this morning. It's plant out week! The goal is to get everything planted and/or sowed this week. This will be a very busy week for the garden. Princess Dinah Boo Boo brought me a nice plump vole this morning :rolleyes: . Office work on/off for most of today. Not much else is going on today. Grilling this evening. No beverages ..... still on the wagon. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's sunny and 70F, on its way to 81F. Chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon. Gonna be warm today. It rained on and off most of yesterday, so didn't get much done outside. A few errands this morning, then planning to work in the garden this afternoon. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there.

Well, Monday went by and here's Tuesday. Dinner tonight wil be a spicy gado gado casserole with taters. Can't wait.

First work, then cleaning at home. I'm leaving on Tuesday for a weekend trip with a friend. I made us a Spotify playlist for the road. We tend to send each other music we like. Even though we both don't always have the best taste in music, we match like crazy when it comes to tunes. 😄

You're finally getting the desired rain @catherinew. Hope no garden will be flooded. 🤞 @sicman Wishing rain upon you. Which is easy, as we have rain again today. Enough to go around. At least my semi new installed IBC rain 'barrels' at the allotment have a chance to show their worth...

Morning chickens - Tuesday is upon us already and it's raining, all day raining plus storms this afternoon.
And I shall be out in it all day - whooopeeeeee - might as well have a bit of fun while I'm getting wet.
That's it for today, not sure what dinner will be - a surprise :lol:

Been repairing the deck the last couple days. Finishing it today and contemplating, removing the hot tub.

Excited for news on the knee this weekend. The wait had been not so good. I’m sure surgery is in order. At least I can move forward one way or another. Sick of worrying if I need to make a career change at 46. It will all work out, it always does.

Good morning. 42-78F and sunny. The rain seems to like the mtns. better, so it will refresh them for a bit longer. Thursday is our turn. Meeting this AM, then hopefully I’ll be able to choose which peppers go to the swap. Worked at the CG yesterday, but a few people stopped by and it turned into a gab fest. Maybe tomorrow I can get stuff raked and organized.
Love everyone’s kitties. Mine’s a hunter, and loves just to be outside.

Good morning. It's 69F on its way to 81F. Office work this morning. Garden planning (what goes where) based on what actually made it out for hardening after that. Family and friends (from the city) are coming down over the weekend to "help" with all of the planting and sowing; therefore, I need a good map of what goes where (as well as a full beer refrigerator :shocked: ). This is kind of comical because they've never wanted to get involved before (only wanted to reap the output). I guess they're going to get to get their hands in the dirt. The lovely Mrs. D says it's the trendy thing to do these days. Looks like everybody has some kitty helpers. That's about it .... grilling this evening. Still on the wagon but feeling close to 100%. Good morning. It's raining and 58F, on its way to 61F. A pretty nasty line of thunderstorms moved through a few hours ago. More rain this afternoon. I guess we can use it. We're still in a mild drought status the last time I checked. Ended up not getting much done yesterday, but last night was Margarita Monday! That was nice lol. Today I think we're heading over to BIL's to try to fix the leaky shower - again. Looked at it the other day and figured out I needed to order a part. Got it yesterday, so today is the day. I have a day of work ahead of me. Then back home to finish some chores and pack my bag for a two-night-trip. I hope it all fits in one day. The chores, work and packing, not the trip.

No idea what's for dinner tonight. I don't feel like cooking (and it's not even past lunchtime! 😀), so lets hope Mr. Ratat will step in tonight. Making dinner is not his forte. I mostly do it, in return, he has agreed to be Chief Garbage Disposal in this house. That's not my forte. Works for me. 😉

Good morning. It's 64F (18C) on its way to 84F (29C). Should be a great day with only spotty T-Storms. We had a huge supercell T-Storm last evening that dumped some heavy rain. Didn't check the rain gauge yet but I'd bet we got 1/4-1/2" of rain in an hour. Luckily no hail. We needed it. Muddy this morning. A bit of office work this morning and then who knows. I worked out the garden map yesterday so that someone other than me knows what goes where (since we're getting all this this help this weekend .... LOL). Grilling this evening. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's sunny and 51F, on its way to 73F. A beautiful Spring day. We got almost 2" of rain yesterday. Things are kinda wet today. Was finally able to get the drippy faucet fixed at BILs. That leaves the toilet replacement. Maybe soon? ha. Hope to get outside and do something in the garden today. I still haven't moved the plants outside yet. Nighttime temps keep dropping into low/mid 40's. I don't like that and neither do the plants. I thing tonight is the last 40's night. If so, plants will go out tomorrow. Sic - forgot to say Rancid definitely belongs to the long-tailed cat club lol. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there.

Preparing the last things before I go and pick up my friend. Then we're off to Belgium. Which, as we all know, is closer to the equator, so it should be at least warmer. Right? Hoping for a day or two of not-rain. 😎 Can't quite remember the correct word for that; It's been to long.I intent to have fun nonetheless.

No idea what's for dinner tonight.

The rain was crazy yesterday and overnight. Anyone says France is in the middle of drought is lying.
Have a good road trip @Ratatouille may it not rain on you.
Not much planned for today except errands and cake baking, seeing as the weather is forecast to be shitty.
