Can we get a definitive list of ingredients non receipt allowed i.e. flour, eggs, bread crumbs, cooking oil, hot sauce, mayo, capers, shredded cheesed etc? In other words, stuff I always have on hand and don't need to buy.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up but what about if you have some left overs you want to use? Say for instance I have some smoked pork left over and I want to use some to season some beans or left over mashed potatoes to thicken a stew or something. Is that allowed or not?

You can use your leftover pork if I can use the 17 leftover lobsters, the 3 day old prime rib, and that extra 2 pounds of portobella mushrooms I have in my fridge....

We must draw the line somewhere, peeps! ;)

TB:

Milk/Cream
Butter
Eggs
Dry Grains/Yeast/Crumb
Sugars/Sweeteners
Acids (vinegar, bottled lemon)
Oils
Herbs/Spices
Salt & Pepper
Prepared Condiments

Buy one get one free chicken breast. I used the free one.

JK. Nobody try to pull that stuff!!!!

But I'm in favor of coupons. As long as your final receipt can show $5 who cares how you got it all!!!

This throwdown might be relatively cheese-less.

I'm wondering what's going to happen meat-wise. It helps to have a good butcher who can give you just a small amount of stuff.

I need a quarter pound of ground beef...who does that???

One strip of bacon!

Hit the deli for an 8th of a pound of sliced roast beef. Lots of ideas...

Really great thing here is I'm checking out all the markets, meat markets, produce and farmers markets I've been eyeing for a while now. Great incentive to get out and do it.

I'm still trying to figure out how to tell my butcher I want half a chicken thigh. J/K, I think I actually have a couple pretty good ideas.

Good places don't have that 1/4 pound minimum, I got four thick slices of pepperoni once, and the cheese I needed, etc. It will require some thinking yeah, so some are already out :P

An episode of 'Extreme Chef' has given me an idea for a future TD - you must get your ingredients from neighbors, with the exception of hot chilis which you can get from the store, your garden, etc... A teaser PoL would be required, including a video of you rummaging through your neighbors frig, pantry.
