More studies are finding a link between cancer and triclosan. Triclosan is the active ingredient in most antibacterial cleansing products. I've never been a germophobe anyway, but now I'm very anti-triclosan.

Watched Big Hero 6 with a friend tonight. A chilehead was clearly involved with the script. Good movie, IMO.
So glad I'm not at my client's office today or Monday. Mandatory shut-down of the building this afternoon in advance of the protest.Hoping it stays peaceable, though doubtful it will.

Brought 3 contributions for the meal. My daughter warned the other guests that one or more might have hot peppers in them. (Of course they all did.) Loved that, after a couple bites, one said to me "you are coming to my house for Christmas and you have to bring this. Don't change anything!"

Disappointing to get a familiar brand of corned beef to find it overly-salty, unlike in the past. Will be making hash with the rest of it, heavy on potatoes and cream.

What is better than coming home to the smell of chiles and herbs humming away in the dehydrator? I feel for y'all whose families won't let you dry chiles in your houses.
How odd is it that I have tons of Congo Trinidads ripe/ripening, yet no annuums have fully ripened yet? Weird weather year fo sho.
After getting the oscillating fan into the "grow room" AFTER putting all the plants in it, I think I qualify for the balance beam gymnastics event at the Olympics, complete with raised-arm landing.
Plants mostly inside. Time to rearrange some furniture so I can bring more in.
