People just do that so that they can say that they did it - I don't think that there are many people who actually enjoy it... The panic probably goes away if you do it so often that you can convince your brain that your body will survive... :lol:

Leave them. In my experience two plant in a pot givs about as much (or little) fruit as one plant in the same pot. Plus they support eachother so you might not need any extra support for them. YMMV.
