    Good call, frydad4! I cut up some habs barehanded, threw them in the pan and ran to pee without washing first... I won't make that mistake twice! Caution must also be taken by those who wear contacts. Again, personal experience...

    If you cut up some hot enough peppers, washing your hands is not 100% pee proof. Even if you wash it properly, five times, some oil will still be there.

    ^This is VERY true! Even with gloves on, you can always count on there being SOME oil somewhere that will get onto a sensitive part of your body. Ever wiped the sweat off your brow after working with hot peppers? Never fails!
