2008-2009 Seed Trading Parcel for USA

well if he sends it,it will continue on like it should.
this is pretty much the honor system so lets give some time, since we never really know what might be going on in his life...
fingers crossed...

comon Mason...You can do it!!!

pablo

I know I am not involved in this at all, but I checked the thread to see what was in the parcel and read what was going on. Anyway, how about just sending him a letter asking him these questions and providing your phone number? He may not be able to or might not have had the time to check his e-mail and the forum, but he has to get his mail for bills, etc.

No chiliac but you can A) verify and B)weed out that which isn`t needed.Man hope it`s not gone,,,if so then i`ve been burning myself for no reason with the naga and scorp seeds.

Search for his phone number at whitepages.

They have reverse address and people search. Might give you the phone number.

Its worth a shot.

Very true. If not there just type it into google. That works sometimes as well.

Bad thing is as pablo said this is the HONOR system,What do we do -run different packages so as to limit the lose? Not 1 big one but 4 or 5 smaller ones?

Well I think in general if gardenkiller doesn`t come back i`ll keep my word to millworkman.Told him what I was putting in so no reason for any of us to change or not be there.Doesn`t fix the prob but does keep the faith. Those of us on the ass end who didn`t get the parcel can still be here for each other.

I just contacted gardenkiller (Mason) via telephone...he sends his apologies...has been out of town on business but the package was mailed to PRF Friday...things are back on track...

He said he would be online in a little while and check in...

We really could have several packages circulating at all times.

Another thought, would be to send AJ everything that you intend to put into the package at the start, so that he and the first few wouldn't be so left out, and also to see who is responsible enough to actually follow through.

From there we could divide it into 2 or even 3 identical packages, and have 2 or 3 lists of participants. It would get to everyone a lot sooner.

Once again I know I am not in on the parcel but hope to be next year. With that being said, I think this is a good idea. Everyone would have to make sure that the seeds they sent were divided accordingly. Otherwise AJ would end up having to separate and pay for something to put the separated seeds into. So if you decide to do 3 separate parcels you send 3 packs of one variety of chili and so on...

YeeHaw that is great news AJ! I'll be on the lookout and get it out ASAP to try to get this thing moving again. I think the way we are doing it is the best as long as we make sure they are long standing active members. Maybe we should make a seed bank to start another at any given time if the parcel is stolen.

On a sort of seed bank or similar I'm sure many of us have what we consider the basics that we would be glad to share. I definitely have extra seed for it.

SORRY I SUCK!

Sorry people for the problem with the package. I had to make a "do it now or lose your job" trip to mexico for a quality control problem. Back now and all is well, but my wife evidently didn't understand when I said to her before I left "MAKE SURE YOU SEND THIS PAKCAGE TO THIS ADDY". She took me to say "BLAH BLAH BLAH"! Like I said, sorry for effing up the process here, but the package is in a mail truck somewhere as we speak. I will politely bow out on the next one due to the trouble.

nope, not gonna volunteer for that one...do you realize the amount of effort it would be to keep up with 2 or 3 parcels with 8-10 participants each...remember, I AIN'T retired yet.... :)
