Ladies and germs, I present to you entry #2.

This is Phil & Allie's Very Berry Habanero Ice Cream Syrup

I used:

2 cups of blueberries
6 strawberries
2 home grown habanero peppers
2 cups of white sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup white cooking wine
1/4 cup cabernet sauvignon
juice from half a lemon
zest of one lemon
2 tbsp honey

Cook until sugar is dissolved and fruit is tender
Blend until smooth
Serve over ice cream of choice!
Simple
Sweet
Syrupy
'Murica!

In this application, I served it with homemade waffles, topped with Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream garnished with fresh strawberries and blueberries.... all splooged over with this yummy, sticky, sweet syrup.... no butter necessary! It has a mild habanero bite that builds and creeps the more you eat!

I used it in a breakfast type dish, but it is specifically made as an ice cream topper!

Thanks for looking! This was a fun project!

In summary, the first entree sauce was a spicy steak sauce.... specific to one food.
The dessert sauce is specific to ice cream!

Can't wait to see the rest of the entries!
