Salsalady's Plan-B Ramen Brunch

Baked ramen-egg dish ingredients-
Cooked ramen, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, onion, jalapeno, oriental flavor seasoning packet, topped with sharp cheddar cheese and a smoked-hab hot sauce.

Toasted Baguette slices-
Mix some of the seasoning packet with softened butter and spread onto baguette slices. Lightly toast.

Salad-
Fry some chopped up cooked ramen in bacon grease and butter until crispy. Drain well on a paper towel.
Mix some of the seasoning packet with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Top some fresh greens with carrots, tomato, and the ramen crunchies. Drizzle with the seasoning vinaigrette.

Ramen Sweet Crunchy-
Fry some cooked ramen in butter until golden crispy. Drain well on a paper towel and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar while hot.

Enjoy with a tall glass of "orange juice"~

This picture shows the baked ramen dish really well, but I forgot the crunchies on the salad-

What can you do with a package of instant ramen and some ingenuity?

READ:

The 5 Rules for an eligible entry

PLUS:

Ramen package must be of the Instant, Flavored variety. All contents must be used including the seasoning.

If using more than one package it must be the same flavor. This challenge is all about what to do with a package or ramen, so if you want a larger meal, just use the same. No additional flavors. Level playing field.

Proof of Life = It will be interesting to see how much you pay for ramen in your area. The PoL is coins equaling the cost of one package.*

(*Except for cory_huck his PoL is the three ingredients I sent him. He must use these. Full disclosure - This means he could have started earlier, but fair is fair, he had set ingredients.)

Deadline: Sunday, 11:30 PM EDT.

BEGIN!

Few quick questions boss. Want to make sure I do her right ;)

1) When it says no additional flavors. Does that mean I cannot use any other seasonings ie: Fresh basil, fresh oregano, salt, pepper, etc. etc.

2) Do the instant ramen lunch cups count too. Or as long as it's ramen/instant/package seasoning, then any form of that goes?

Tanks boss!

It's like christmas here in SoFlo. The Ramen challenge has arrived!

Busted out the ice cream ball for this one.

Whooped up some conch fritters with a ramen base, jalapenos, onions, and seasoning packet included.
Lightly breaded and fried.
Made a remoulade with mayo, capers and a little bit of sum's adobo sauce.
Meanwhile, made an ice cream base with powdered ramen, ripe banana, fresh jalapeno, sugar, cream, and milk.
Filled the ball up (wankey), let the kids roll it around on the floor for a while until the ice cream magic happened.
Served with sprinkles, of course, on a "banana leaf".

Here's some prep. Final to come.
