Few quick questions boss. Want to make sure I do her right ;)

1) When it says no additional flavors. Does that mean I cannot use any other seasonings ie: Fresh basil, fresh oregano, salt, pepper, etc. etc.

2) Do the instant ramen lunch cups count too. Or as long as it's ramen/instant/package seasoning, then any form of that goes?

Tanks boss!

3/5~ from what I understand, you can use multiple packages of ONE FLAVOR of ramen, but you can't use a package of chicken and a package of beef. You can use as many other ingredients as you want.

I don't think cup-o-soups count as you have to use the seasoning packet that's in regular ramen packages in some other way than just for a soup. I don't know how you'd separate the seasonings from the cup-o-soup. :?:

This reply is subject to correction by The Boss or his #1 THP assistant, geeme. I just saw no one had replied to 3/5.

:D

Prison Pad Thai Burrito

Ramen to me is cheap noodles eaten by cheap college kids or people in jail. The total cost out of pocket for this dish - $3.07... Now that is Ramen!!

Ingredients:

Dough - 1/2 of a sleeve of saltines, 1 ramen packet, and one seasoning packet
Pad Thai - Ramen packet and seasoning, chopped Jalapenos, Crunchy Peanut butter, Meat Sticks, Hot sauce, A few drops of Pure evil.

To make the dough - Crush up the saltines and Ramen well. Mix together in a bag, add just enough hot water to moisten it. Wrap in a towel and let sit for 5 minutes.

To make the filling - Break up Ramen and chop all ingredients. Place Ramen, Peppers, and Meat into the bag and put just enough hot water inside to cover the ramen. Wrap and let sit under a towel for 5 minutes.
Once it is ready, place mixture. Add 2-3 spoonfuls of Peanut Butter and stir it in. Add Hot sauce and Pure evil to taste.

Flatten out the dough in a rectangle shape about 1/4 inch thick. Place filling in the middle of the dough. Fold over and seal the edges. It helps to keep the bag cut open under the Burrito for this process.

More Habs and Hot Sauce to taste.

Cory's prolly loopy on drugs, ...but Cory and gnarley, you both need to edit your final post to follow the rules. Final post must have ingredients, description of process and up to 2 pics. you guys have time, chill out for tonight, Cory, takes some serious meds and edit tomorrow. Cory - wonderful!

gnarlyeggs - I'm not sure if you intend for that to be your final post, but if so, be sure to edit it to include your ingredients and cooking methods!

SL - Just an FYI I have no input on the rules. All I do is try to help make sure everyone gets their entries in right and create the list of links for THP. He be da Rules Boss! I'm with you though - I don't think the cup variety is in the spirit intended, and seasonings in addition to the flavor packets of a single variety are fine. Keep in mind THP's earlier post - the seasoning packet couldn't be tossed (must be used), but didn't necessarily have to be in the ramen dish itself.

yea, geeme, I was just thinking maybe you understood the rules for this TD and I missed something, so you could correct something if I interpretted it wrong. It's all good~

gnarlyeggs - A bit of tweaking is still needed. In your final post, you need to have a title, list of ingredients and cooking method(s), and a maximum of two presentation pics. Please move your ingredients and cooking methods to your final post with the title!
