This one is good. I'm a sucker for an oatmeal stout, and this one has everything I look for in an oatmeal stout. I could drink this all winter, well at least for a week or two....

I figured I would love this one, since I dig several of their other beers. Definitely not. There is a weird metallic flavor, that I don't like at all. I tried several drinks too, and got the same off flavor each time. Very minimal to almost non existent roasty aroma that I love in stouts.

Infected. I had a batch go bad that tasted like putting pennies in your mouth.

Are oatmeal stouts sweeter than a russian stout?

Depends on the brewer and how much residual sugar is there.
For instance Ten Fidy is one of the more bitter Imp Stouts I've had, while Founders is sweeter to me.

That is exactly what that tasted like. I was surpised considering the high ratings the beer has, and my previous experience with the beers from this brewery.

If you taste one there is no doubt its metallic. Kind of blood like too.

IDK what to say about this one, except it's much darker, and sweeter than any other dubbel I've had. Not many esters/phenols I would expect from a dubbel. Very drinkable though. I hammered this one back in 5 minutes.

Would anybody here recommend Clown Shoes? If so, which one? About to go on a run..

Never had a dubbel, I gotta look them up. 
 
So far I seem to like porters more than stouts, though always wish for a thicker porter.

Home brewed aji amarillo Tripel. I'm really glad I brewed this one. I wouldn't change anything about it, if I brew it again next Summer with fresh peppers. Much better than the aji amarillo IPA I brewed IMHO.

Great brew to accompany dinner. Tons of banana esters in this one. I would most definitely buy it again.

Yes sir! The winter white was perfect to help my tummy soak up all of that crab butter.
