The flat side seemed to work well.

It worked great and it's easy to season compared to CI. The flavor was awesome and it holds heat more than you think. 
 
Next cook will be steaks on the flat side to get a solid crust across the meat.

It's called Black Cow Burger, local "burger bar" here. Burgers are really good and cheap, but they hope you buy some of there expensive fancy drinks. I get the free water...lol

i kept this one simple. no lettuce or tomato , no onion. no Mayo. all i wanted was the meat and the heat! pickled jala rings i made last fall and homicide hot sauce.

I was just at Lucys Burgers for dinner. I decided to order their BURGER OF THE MOMENT, it was the Smoking Hot Lucy. Quite tasty and spiced just about right, a few beads on the forehead but no smoke from the ears. I liked it!
