craft beer

Trying this one tonight.  Just a hint of chocolate, but smooth.

Have not had ... in my preferred style, though ...

Actually, I'm finding it hard to appreciate non-imperial's in too close proximity to having consumed an imperial ... even one's I know I like ...

I've never noticed that before now ...

I almost never go out to eat/drink, anymore ...

*I* used to do a lot, but at this point we can't go out and eat something that we can't make better ourself, for less than $140-180 (two of us), and Danielle is so picky that it's pretty much a non-starter ...

Also, I'd rather have that same $140-180 to spend at my spot (butcher), so that's what happens more of often than not ...

I resisted running over to the closest brewpub for Polpo Pizza this past weekend, and those steamed sliders the weekend prior ...

But today, this ...

Now I must go ...

I'm liking the beer brewing folks style ... I can appreciate the humor in that.

Finding this tasty ...

I like it as much or more than the other version (mixed berry, I think) ...

I agree would rather spend half the money and get leftovers and have some fun in the kitchen. We rarely go out to eat these days too, unless it is Vietnamese pork rolls on the run at the markets before buying produce.

Please check you taste buds, there is something seriously wrong. Have you been watching chick flicks and feeling all emotional recently? Could be early onset male menopause if you are hooking into rekorderlig.

Danielle likes it ... that's what she drinks while I'm drinking beer.

I tried it mostly only because I was listening to a podcast where the author of Radical Brewing said it was hard to brew w/ strawberries ...
PS - no worries, I didn't plenty of REAL DAMAGE ... in fact, I'm still up doing it ...

Imperials are just sooo good. Plus they're so rich. It's like drinking dessert. Which one is your favorite? I really like Founder's but that Rasmutin is pretty good too.

I'm really fluid in terms of favorite ... kind of depends on which way the wind's blowing, I'm afraid ...

I'm currently fascinated w/ Rogue's Double Chocolate Stout, which is kind of totally eclipsing everything in the entire stout category for me, right now ...

Awesome beer.  Their double IPA is also worth grabbing.

I've been looking for that Rogue DC haven't found it here yet. Young's DC is really good. Although one of my favorites coming soon is Anderson Valley Summer Solstice. My mouth is watering now.

Youngs DC is a favourite of mine.  We don't seem to get many of the anderson valleys here, except by grey import.  I haven't had a bad beer made by them, would love to try it.

I think Dupont is going to win tonight, but Ozzy almost sent me down the Rogue DC path ...
Saison Dupont is the best version of its style.  Lucky bastard!
