off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning.  It's 36 now on its way to 56.  Yep.  It's about lawn time.  I still need to get the mower serviced and ready to go.  In about a month it will be the start of mowing season :banghead: .  My work schedule looks full today.  Got more pepper plants going than I know what to do with.  Almost time to plant potatoes too.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. The heavy rain we had Sunday night gave the lawn a good drink, and it made a muddy mess in the garden. I can see a few garlic popping up - great to see that.

"Got more pepper plants going than I know what to do with."  Yes, Harry - would you like a few more?  My go-to gal only wants them ready to plant - she may be in for a big surprise when the time comes.

It's looking like a beautiful spring day forecasted, with snow on Friday. Hope your day is looking great, too. Stay healthy and don't panic with this COVID-19. Stay smart.

Good morning everyone. It looks to be a sunny, Spring day. Enjoy it while I can before the next change in weather. Only 3 pepper varieties to transplant this weekend - Biker Billy jalapeño, Fresno, and Poblano. I use the first 2 in dill pickles for the family.

I hope your day is going well. Keep friends and family close and try to stay healthy.

good morning and happy Wednesday all :)

hope everyone is having a good week so far

34F here and muddy, supposed to rain tomorrow

English muffins with homemade pineapple-Rocoto/PassionFruit/Groundcherry jelly for breakfast  :drooling:

got some transplanting to do this afternoon, not much else goin on today

hope you all have an excellent day
be kind to one another

Good morning.  It's 51 on its way to 65.  We're hearing that winter is coming back on Saturday .... including snow.  My meeting schedule is light today.  I might be able to actually get some work done  .  Everything looks OK down in the seedling room.  I'm going to have some large plants by the time we're ready for plant out  .  No tomato plant babies yet.  It wouldn't surprise me if I have some by the time I get home this evening.  They usually come up in 3-7 days for us.  This COVID-19 thing is crazy  .  I better stock up on scotch and beer before that's all gone!  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. Snow and rain tonight, a bit of Spring showing from Mother Nature. I’m hoping to babysit my son's Maine Coon kitty for a few days. She is beautiful and getting to be a larger ball of cuddle fur.

The peppers are looking good for now, some will need to be re-done as I had to double up on a lot of them - no more room under the lights. Tomatoes will be started late - I can’t handle larger seedlings as we will be away in May - if this pandemic subsides anyway.

Have a wonderful day and keep friends and family close. Stay healthy and be prepared.

Good morning.  It's 38 on its way to 50 today.  Very busy Friday office schedule for me.  Winter returns tonight.  Our tomato babies popped yesterday as expected.  I've got at least 100 pepper plants to pot up this weekend too.  With no sports going on .... it will be kind of strange.  I guess I'll be working in the seedling room and maybe out in the barn.  Got some tax work to do too.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. Dreary outside, just waiting for rain and snow. Funeral this afternoon. No sports, no schools in session here anyways. The roads this AM were quite empty in comparison of just yesterday. Hubby said Costco was a zoo yesterday - why are we panicking? I think the media has a lot to do with it. Big sign at Costco at the front of the door, "NO toilet paper".

Hopefully your day will go well. Keep family and friends close. Stay safe but don't panic.

Good morning everyone. Dreary day ahead with just about everything cancelled. On a good note, the peppers are looking healthy.

Time to make soup, read a little, watch a few movies. If I get really bored, we can make jam from frozen fruit.

I hope your days ahead are filled with positive thoughts. Stay healthy and pay it forward.

Good morning all :)

Well it looks like this Covid-19 thing is creating 'panic at the Costco'
thankfully we haven't needed to deal with the crowds and stuff too much, thank goodness for home canned goods and frozen foods eh ?

We went from booked solid with reservations through spring break, to 16 cancellations in the last 3 days  :mope:
people are cancelling meetings, cancelling vacations, etc.  Will be in the red this month for sure  :(

Wifes upset that her 10 best swimmers wont get to compete in the multi state regionals, as that has been canceled now. Those kids trained hard all year for this.   :(

hope you all are doing well
be kind, and excellent to one another
and have a great day

Good morning.  All is well here.  Happy National Corn Dog Day  .  It's cloudy and gloomy out there.  It's 34 on its way to 41.  Had to make a run to the post office yesterday but that's it.  Didn't get anywhere near the insanity.  It's been cold so we've been working inside .... down in the seedling room.  I've heard rumors that my company will request that everyone work from home for at least 3 weeks.  No doubt today we'll be working in seedling room after a big breakfast.  Be safe and be good.
