Currants and pie Cherries are budding, hopefully the frosty nights are done and the blooms don't drop

Forecast high of 50F today, 70F tomorrow

i'm thinking of skipping breakfast, going back to bed, and having a nice brunch later instead.

hope you all are staying safe and healthy  :D

Good morning everyone. Sunny, warmer, muddy garden. Dug up a few weeds, transplanted all 6 trays of tomatoes. I’m just about done with the transplanting. Sic - don’t forget the whole East coast for travel. New England - VT, Maine, NH. We’re planning on a few side trips around here this year since our Europe trip was cancelled. Maybe WY and MT. Wherever you go, enjoy the beauty.

GIP - first of all, take care of yourself. Good vibes. Your garlic is beautiful, looks like a bountiful harvest ahead.

All the best for a great day ahead. Stay healthy and safe.

Good morning.  GIP absolutely take care of yourself.  It should be a good day.  My schedule looks light.  It's 53 on its way to 62 with T-Storms in the afternoon.  Yesterday's morel mushroom hunting was better than the previous trip.  Found 19 but that will probably do it for this year.  It's too warm and the woods are too overgrown now.  17 days to plant out.  7 days to hardening start.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning. Hopefully I’ll be digging up a lot of grape hyacinths for the trash. They are worse than weeds and have more babies than bunnies or pigs. Looking forward to a few more flowers blooming other than tulips and daffodils.

All the best to GIP feeling better. Congrats to Harry with his morel hunting. The news just announced the peach crop on the Western Slope will be nil this year because of the 19*F temps last week. Not too happy about that.

Have a wonderful day, stay safe and healthy.

Good morning.  Sic ..... Not sure if your trip makes sense but it sounds like an adventure.  I had somebody steal the license plate off of one of my trucks ..... It was recovered by Police on a truck just like mine in the county north of me.  I haven't been in that county since the stay at home order.  Most likely it was stolen down here last Saturday when we were running errands.  Anyway, spent an hour on the phone with the local authorities and the Police north of me trying to figure out how to get my plate back.

It's 55 on its way to 75.  It should be a nice day.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. Sunny, a nice day to be outdoors. Sic - it sounds like your adventure to Ft. Myers will be fun. You are missed with this SAH time. Enjoy your time together. Harry - sorry about the theft. That is surely one of the frustrating acts of invasion. Are we that desperate right now? Just glad the police are taking care of the situation.

All the best to GIP, hoping he's feeling better. Have a great day and stay healthy.

Yesterday was fine, driving is like mad max on the interstate. I couldn't go slower than 80, literally was impossible unless you wanted to get pushed. Brought home a dozen dragon fruit plants. Its raining crazy with tornado warnings. Not positive what we will do today. Totally sucks Harry, I had a f350 stole of my property. Have a wonderful day and good morning.

Good morning.  Periods of rain and thunderstorms today.  It's 58 on its way to 65.  The forecast for the weekend looks good.  Full dance card today with 7 meetings.  Going to try to knockoff mid afternoon.  Not much planned for the weekend.  I'll have to mow, get the tables out for plant hardening next week and install my kayak hanger in the barn.  I might try to squeeze in some fishing early Sunday.  Grilling and booze this evening.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 41*F with rain on the way, much warmer next week. The tornadoes in the South look scary, be safe Sic. I heard they got huge hail about an hour south of us - not looking forward to that weather this year. Some plants I can protect, but most of the garden plants have to fend for themselves. Even the hardy lilac bushes got their leaves frizzed last week. This is definitely going to be a less-than-normal year for gardens here.

Nice that Sic brought home dragon fruit plants - I don’t think I’ve even tasted the fruit. All the best to GIP - hope he is felling better. Have a great Friday and stay healthy.

Good morning everyone. Cloudy, no rain. Will have to visit the CG today and water the onions and garlic, waiting for warmer temps. Shopped yesterday, stopping at Ace Hardware for a Denver based product called EcoGro - I hope to add some of it to the pepper pots next month. Looking forward to plant out in a month or so.

Have a wonderful day and stay healthy. GIP - know we’re thinking of you.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a great day for outdoor work in the gardens - raking leaves out of corners, watering whatever is growing, hubby even tilled the tomato area at the CG. Lots more to do, but we'll take advantage of the beautiful weather. More gardening planned for today before the rain MIGHT come. It's so nice to be outside with the birds, bees.

Have a wonderful day, stay safe and healthy. GIP - we are thinking of you. Let us know how you are doing.
