off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning.  Another cool morning.  Sunny, cold and windy.  It's 41 on it's way to 58.  Unseasonably cold.  Watching the WX and they're saying another frost tonight and tonight's low may set the record low.  Another good day of fishing yesterday afternnoon.  Lots of crappie but no huge ones.  Not much on the agenda today.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. Happy Mother’s Day to all the chile gals and wives. It looks to be a great Sunday. I got my little flower area clean from grape hyacinths, columbine, weeds. Still not certain what to plant when I get the chance. Right now I have a few small red currant bushes there to stay. Hope to make strawberry rhubarb jam today. Have a great day and stay healthy.

Good morning everyone. Glad Sic had a nice visit in TN with family. Hope to make more jam, need to get a few more supplies like strawberries. Heavy rain predicted for today, will start hardening off the tomatoes on Wednesday, peppers later. It’s still too cool here to plant, another couple of weeks under the lights.

I hope your day is filled with lots of joy. Stay safe and healthy.

Good morning everyone.  Light rain and 30s and 40s yesterday, fog and 30s this morning. I covered the rhubarb in case of hail since we’ve had the crop shredded the past few years. Think I’ll keep it covered until June. Next weeks forecast looks promising for garden work. I think everyone is getting antsy to get back to work.

Nice to hear of Sic’s travels and meeting friends again. Harry, I know what you mean about getting the plants in the ground soon - gnats just started showed up on some pepper leaves, etc. I’m sure they’ve been there for a couple of weeks. Let’s get this show on the road. . . .

Hope you all have a great day. Stay safe and be kind to the earth.

Good morning everyone. It looks like a good day w/out rain yet, so I’ll soon be meeting a new gardener at the CG. It is definitely time to get the plants used to the outdoors. Next weeks temps look promising, but will still wait until the end of May for planting.

Hope you have a great day ahead. Stay safe and healthy. Remember those less fortunate.

Good morning everyone. Rain predicted for 2 days, but we will see if Harry gets our storm. The new garden gal has energy, just hope she follows rules. She claims to “know everything” about gardens. Hope so. Most of the peppers are looking really healthy, the jalapeños are flowering and I’m just letting them do their thing right now - though I may cut most blooms before planting. I hope your day goes well. Stay safe and enjoy the earth. Thoughts to GIP.

Good morning.  It's 64 on its way to 78.  Severe T Storms, hail and tornadoes are in the forecast for later today.  Flash flood watch is in effect until Friday morning.  Very busy meeting schedule today.  Looking forward to the weekend.  Taking tomorrow off to work in the rain  :banghead: .  Be safe and be good.

Yuk.  I am supposed to help my nephew move out this morning. At least we have a few good hours of weather.  Nephew has lived with us for the past four years.  We got him through high school.  Will miss having him around but he will only be a few miles away in the next town south of us.

Good morning everyone. No rain yesterday- it went East, to Harry. Maybe some today. Planted the last of the beets at the CG, soon will be the broccoli plants. The iris are starting to show their beautiful colors. It’s time to work on the garden at home.

Have a wonderful day ahead. Stay healthy and remember those less fortunate. Thoughts to GIP.
