off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 47F (8C) on its way to 80F (27C) .... DR - the nice WX will be headed your way for later in the week. Breezy and very warm. Looks to be a great day to be outside ... but ..... I will be working and stuck inside for some of the day 😡 . Worked yesterday on getting the landscaping back in order. Cut back the fountain grass .... etc. This afternoon I will cut back the liriope. Lots more to do. This afternoon I have to raise the lights in the grow room. Those tomatoes are growing inches per day. Not much else is happening and I'm not sure what my wife has lined up for this evening's menu. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 41F, on its way to 75F. Beautiful Spring day! Keep it coming Harry lol. Yesterday I worked on getting the row of blackberries/raspberries under control. I'm not sure what they are anymore as I've never gotten a berry off of them, ha. I had these planted outside the garden and the deer kept the canes eaten down to a foot or less. I guess the leaves taste good. After 3-4 years of this, I dug them up and planted them inside the garden fence. I think that was two Summers ago. Well, I just let them go, and sure enough, they went --- everywhere lol. I've decided to clean them up this year and build a trellis for them. I built one like those used with grape vines, using stainless steel braided wire. Today I'll tie the canes up, fertilize and mulch. At least that the plan anyway. I hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there.

Harry and Downriver no cat fishing yesterday but boy I was a master jug runner and dabbled in noodling back in the day. Yesterdays noodling was in the form of messing around with that old guitar. Dug up a picture from 20 years ago for yall. 33 inch blue and 32 inch channel.

Taking truck to the shop riding my bike home. Ill run a couple errands on my way home. More noodling this afternoon. Have a great day and good morning.

Good morning. Very warm for April, the weather gal is predicting a new high temp for today - 84F. I’m hoping to plant those peas now that I’ve figured out where they will go. We have meetings much of the day, but will find an hour to get these seeds planted. Also got new tomato seeds that got planted last night. It’s beginning to look a lot like garden.
Have a beautiful day. Enjoy the crisp outside air and beauty of Spring.

Morning all,

Noodling my way through the morning, as usual.

It's supposed to be a rainy, stormy and thundery day. Sometimes I like working in an office, especially with thunder. Bonus of todays weather, the wind gusts and hail will show me if I anchored my polytunnel like a pro or an amateur.

@Downriver I hope you get your berries this year. Nothing beats fruit from your own backyard.

Have a lovely Wednesday people. (Although it feels like Tuesday to me.)

Morning all - Hump Day is here! I am liking a 4-day week with no Monday.
Today is wet and very windy so the peppers can stay inside the greenhouse, no hardening off for them unless it calms down this afternoon.
Got a few errands to run, bit of work to do then the day is mine.
Have a good Wednesday and keep warm, dry, cool, calm and smile regardless :D

Good morning. It's 53F (12C) on its way to 82F (28C). It should be breezy and warm. Opening up all the windows in the house today. Sic .... good luck with the cow processing. Watered the starts in the grow room this morning. They are growing fast. Less than a month to plant out. I'm going to work in the basement office for a couple of hours and then I'm headed outside. Not working in the garden today. I need to run out and get the propane tanks filled and then I've got some new grilling gear to assemble. I also need to move the beer fridge and TV back out to the screened-in porch and replace the regulator on the fire table. If my back is up to it, I might attempt to fire-up the string trimmer. I've still got lots of landscaping to get under control too. Plenty to do. I think I heard that beef stroganoff is on today's menu. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 62F, on its way to 81F. Another beautiful day ahead. After much finagling, I got the berry canes trellised yesterday. They look pretty pitiful but I think they'll be happy eventually. I need to fertilize and mulch them today, but have a few errands to run first. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there.

EDIT: Forgot to say nice fish fellas! ...and butchering a cow would take me a month (at least)

Good morning. 50-80F, we broke a record high of 84F(28C) for yesterday. Now we need some rain, maybe Friday night. The lilacs are beginning to bud, I can almost smell their wonderful scent. The flower garden needs lots of cleanup, maybe today it will get finished. Coffee group, neighbors dog, meeting, then the day is open for cleanup.
Sic, the butcher. All the best doing that job, hope you get the spoils from that workout.
Have a wonderful day. It’s still way too early to plant outside, but we can plan.

Morning all,

I have no need for a weather report today, I can hear the rain on the windows and the wind around the house. Someone told me the weather would get more spring like next week. I have high hopes.

Work today, not much else planned but the usual. I do hope to cram a lot of work in a few hours though. Aiming for a productive day.

Happy Thursday. Remember the weekend is around the corner now. As is spring.

Good morning. Happy Friday Eve. It's 53 (12C) on its way to 81 (27C). Another nice day but colder weather and rain will arrive tomorrow night/Saturday. Working outside today to complete as much of the yard, landscape and garden stuff as possible before the colder WX and rain returns for the weekend. I need to haul rock and soil today too. We'll see how my back holds up. I've got a couple of meetings this afternoon so I need to get most of this done this morning. Looks like Saturday will be another re-pot day. Short rib grilled cheese sandwiches this evening. Maybe some beverages after that. Be safe and be good.

Yesterday went well. All butchered and meat is on ice will be processing it tomorrow. Had filet mignon last night and in a omelette this morning. Fresh meat off your own land is hard to beat, very blessed. Couple errands today and a little work in the barn then jamming with a buddy tonight. Have a great day and good morning.
