off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's cloudy and 78F, on its way to 89F. Chance of thunderstorms late this afternoon. Yesterday, I did all the things Harry's doing today, plus a stop at the P.O. Hope your WM is less crowded than ours was, lol. Today I'm heading down to the garden to finish installing those raised beds, dammit! Yep, that's what I'm gonna do....maybe, lol. Might fire up the smoker today, and/or finish cutting the grass I didn't get to. Or, I just might sit here in my recliner and do absolutely nothing. Guess I'll see what strikes my interest, ha. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there, and don't forget to stop and smell the roses every once in a while.
 
Good morning. It's sunny and 76F, on its way to 91F. Calling for clouds and sun with a heavy thunderstorm. Well, yesterday I ended up running the smoker - chuck roast, country-style ribs, and black-eyed peas. Yum. Also went down to the garden and installed one of the raised beds. Yay. Started leveling for the next one, but dinner called. Today, not sure what's on the agenda. Might just wing it! Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Good morning and happy Monday! It's only supposed to be in the mid-70's, which is perfect weather to be outside for most of the day. Hopefully today will be a 20K+ step count day by the time I'm done.

Good morning. It's sunny and 64F, on its way to a blazing 78F. Beautiful day on tap. Worked on upcoming BBQ comp stuff yesterday. A little more to do this morning. Good morning. It's 64F on its way to 86F. Raining. I would like to mow this afternoon (didn't get it done yesterday :rolleyes:). Picked our first ripe tomatoes (other than cherries) yesterday and harvested a bucket of blackberries. I've got 7-8 zucchini we need to work into the menu this week. I've also got some Cubanelle and some Sugar Rush Peach pods that are turning and are ready to harvest at any time. Futzing this morning until the rain ends. Chicken grillers this evening. Good morning. It's sunny and 54F, on its way to 82F. Another beautiful day. No rain predicted until July 4th. Figures, lol. Well, I finished installing the raised beds yesterday. Yay. Now I have to put the bucket on the Kubota and move some dirt from the riverbank to fill them. Might do that today. Need to cut some grass I've neglected first. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Good morning. It's 78F on its way to 97F. Got 1.8" of rain yesterday. That's ~7" of rain in the past week! Today is supposed to be super-hot, humid and windy. I've got a half day of mowing on the agenda ..... once the dew evaporates. Futzing around and having a few beverages after that. Zucchini casserole this evening. Be safe and be good.
 
Not sure what is going on today? I should go on a bike ride but man im just so beat up this time of the year after a couple days of work. i need to cut some bamboo at Uncle Bens but I can do that tomorrow when I mow. I have to mow our place again today and change and sharpen blades on the mowers. Ugh, the more I think about it I have a lot of crap I need to do, better put on my big boy boots and get on it. Good morning. 60-90F. An unexpected rain shower last night soaked my just dug garlic. Guess I’ll move them out of the line of fire in case another shower pops up. Weeding will be easier.
The family will be leaving today, so routine will be back again. Nice whirlwind visit.

Good morning. It's 73F on its way to 85F. Mostly cloudy with more storms this afternoon. We got another 0.4" last night. If I'm going to do anything outside, it will have to be this morning. Finally mowed yesterday .... with all this rain, the yard has never looked better for this time of year. Harvested 8 red ripe tomatoes yesterday and some more zucchini. We have (2) zucchini plants and have harvested 19 gourds off of those plants so far. I'm having it at every meal. Futzing this afternoon. I'm grilling some tuna to have with salads this evening. Good morning. It's sunny and 72F, on its way to 88F. Back to the hot and muggy stuff for a while. Didn't do any of the things I had planned on yesterday. Decided to weed-whack the electric fence that's around the garden, then spray that homemade weedkiller stuff. Curious to see if it works. Anyway, the electric fence is humming again. Good morning. Happy 4th of July. Remember those who fought to make our country free.
I’m hoping to dig up garlic at the CG, clean up that area (lots of stray weeds), then get it ready for the next round of seeds.
Not much else is planned, a nice quiet day until the fireworks begin.
