off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's sunny and 3F, on its way to 20F. WXGesser says "extreme cold can be dangerous for outdoor activities". Works for me. Inside it is, ha. Sliced up 10lbs of beef yesterday to make jerky. It's been in the marinade overnight. I need to finish up by loading the trays and firing up the dehydrator today. The house is gonna smell pretty good this afternoon! Not sure what else might be on the agenda. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and dream of Spring.
 
Good morning. It's 23F on its way to 29F. Another cold front has arrived and its frigid and blustery. No melting of my driveway glacier today! This has been a terrible January. I'm sick of it! @ Catherinew: Please stop sending your WX my way :).

Good morning. 13-31F, hopefully no wind to share this frigid weather. ‘Most’ of the main streets are bare, but the residential ones are a mess. The WXers say more snow this weekend for us, at least we can handle it. I’m meeting a friend for lunch, making banana bread, and watching old shows. How long until Spring?

Good morning. It's sunny and 5F, on its way to 36F. Maybe a little melting this afternoon? One can only hope. @ Harry, please quit sending your weather my way, lol! Jerky got done yesterday. Came out pretty good. It's a pretty mild batch, because everybody said I was making it too spicy. They still ate it, of course, ha. Need to pack for a quick trip North tomorrow. Don't know what else is on the agenda, but I hope it's inside! Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's 13F on its way to 44F. Sunny, warm and breezy. Yippee! Maybe my glacier will start melting! I'm going to do some futzing and then I'm going out to spread some ice melt on the glacier. I also need to check the hot tub chemistry while the WX is nice. Might head up to the city for lunch. Potato soup this evening. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. 21-47F and a bit windy. Hopefully some of the icy streets will melt. Coffee group, light rail to downtown for lunch, and strolling the streets there. Looks like a pretty quiet day for meetings. I started revising garden plans last night, not really sure about adding extras this year. The PITA from many years in the garden has gone, so I’m hoping for less stress.

Good morning. It's 23F on its way to 45F. Cloudy. Hopefully more of the glacier melts today. I'm going to watch the matches this morning and futz this afternoon. I need to get down to the meat freezer and get something out to grill today and tomorrow. The boss says it's my choice. We'll see what I can come up with. I might spread some more ice melt on the glacier. Not much else is going on. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. 9-22F and snowing. Annual vet appointment early this AM through the snow. It took us a bit longer this morning to get there after shoveling the 4" so far. Good day to stay inside and watch TV. I'm making meatballs for tomorrow, but that can wait. I just want to stay warm and dry.

Good morning. It's 25F on its way to 37F. Cold and cloudy but a significant warmup is on the way starting tomorrow. We need it. The glacier is slowly melting and I'm hopeful that it will completely melt by June :) ! Watching futbol this morning and the NFL games this afternoon. Probably do some futzing and maybe some reading in between. BBQ this evening. I've got a slab, some sausage and some wings. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's sunny and 20F, on its way to 45F. Some warmth has finally returned. Highs in the 40's for the next two weeks. Break out the shorts! JK. Looking forward to some significant melting in the next few days. Back from up North. Nice to see folks. Today is a chill day. Not doing much of anything, except watching NFL. Might do some reading. Good morning. It's 18F on its way to 48F. Mild with plenty of sun! More melting! How bout those Chiefs! @ DR: I was disappointed to see the Commanders and the referees give that game away. Ridiculous.
