Calling for some nasty weather here. Two straight days of below zero temps, and that isn't counting the -13 I had today. Decided to plastic off the OW area and give them some heat. Going to see what a standard light bulb will do before I go out and buy a small heater. Might be what is wrong with the Choc habanero and to a lesser degree, the Brain. Still holding around 52 today, but I think if I push this over 60, I should be seeing some improvements. A lot of them want to bud, but I think the temp is just a bit too cool.
Thinking that if I use this space next year, I can build a rack and hold a lot more peppers (three levels) if I need to instead of just the top of the table. Might need to change the lighting around, but I just want to keep them alive...4 months baby, hang on OW hang on!!!
They have tested me and my October planting of them. I seriously believe they weren't keeping warm enough. Upstairs they are doing well.
Thank you!!! It is one of my favorite desserts. Moosetracks ice cream over vanilla though
Thanks, I thought I learned a lot on the video, especially since I had no idea on how to do it with peppers being self pollinating. I was thinking you wouldn't know if you got it right and then the next grow you would have to weed out the ones you didn't want. Still have to do that, but you won't lose two years wondering if it took.
I would mail you some crisp, but I don't think it would make the trip too well lol.....I liked your post to make up for your quota issue lol
I would think it would be some flood control thing.
