hooda's Grow 2012 - Rise of the Clones

So today i just transplanted my first set of seedlings that are about 3 weeks old now and have started my new seeds I just got from pepperlover.com today.

3 week old peppers are:

Manzano
Gochu
Caribbean Red
Jalapeno
Cayenne
Bhut Jolokia
Fatalii
Aji Lemon
Aji Chuncho
Tepin
Red Habanero
Scotch Bonnet TFM
Maui Thai
7 Pod Yellow

Transplants were done a bit early for some but I think it was for the best as they were all in jiffy pellets and some of the seedlings were starting to root past the pellet and starting to dry out faster than I was comfortable with.

Pepperlover.com was awesome and threw in Orange Hab, Red Hab, and Aji Chuncho with my order

Also all of the seedlings I'm growing I still have extra seeds if anyone is interested in some trades.

So this is off topic, but I notice your avatars - are you an fan of older horror stuff? Just asking because I listen to a podcast of old radio horror shows that's pretty fun, and if you're a fan you might enjoy. It's called "the horror" and it's from relicradio.com, but I've got it through itunes. They've got several old radio shows they run as podcasts. Fun stuff if you're into that sort of thing.

Yeah old horror, old scifi even more.

Everything is now starting to come around. I'm not really sure why growth slowed for a bit, but everything now has at least 20 flowers on them and all should be loading up soon. I hope. Well anyway happy 4th! Live fast, take chances.

Where've I been??? Didn't realize you hooked up the hydro! Your in-ground plants are really lush and green, with a ton of white flowers poking through here and there...gonna be a great year my man!

So I was bored and went out and took some more photos.

I finially got some bhuts on my chocolate but they are tiny so I didn't take any shots of them. Alright later.

I see an aphid on your bonnett!!! Kill it!!! Lol, great pics! This waiting game stinks! I got a few supers ripening here and there...I have a feeling its gonna be that way for a bit longer for both of us...then BAM! Well that's the plan on this end anyway. Won't be long brother! You got some cayenne candy to hold you over while the big boys get warmed up!

Yeah I saw that guy when I was posting the pics. The only spot they like is the pods on that plant. It's weird, but I don't want to spray since I put out a bunch of lady bugs.

Hi Hooda
Looking good. I'm jealous of your ripening cayennes! I have plants that are loaded with pods, but they're all still green. I've only been watering once every two days when it doesn't rain, maybe I need to increase it to once every three days to stress the plants. How are your gochus doing?

Gochus are doing great. I have already stripped both plants of their pods and have been mostly eating them as snack with Gochujang.

Hi Hooda, Did you go to see that really short fireworks display on Wednesday? Heard about it in my local paper yesterday.

I didn't see it in person, I saw it on the news the next day. The city I live in is north of downtown and has their own display for the forth. Which was a nice 25 - 30 minute show.

Don't know what more pathetic...our premature detonation. Or your newspaper doesn't have anything better to report on??? Really glad I didn't drive down to watch them. They have stations from the Mexico border to LaJolla all synchronized to music, only one of them got fubar'd so it wasn't a total loss.

Figure I'd post this one to my glog also Fatalii x Red Savina F2 with different pod shapes.

By far the best hot sauce I have made yet. Habanero Sweet Hot. Managed to keep the amazing color also. I'm pretty happy with this one.

Small update of some plants. Not much going on. I have flower on flower but most are dropping right now, which I think might be due to the heat. I started shading my Mazano as no flowers have set on it and its looking rough on the old growth.
