The microwave puts a better cook on the inside of the dog ...
 
Next time I'll slit and microwave it, and then just hit it w/ the torch to give it a little crackle-skin/char ...

And they put this crap on it LOL! That's NOT onions! And it tastes like toxic waste after being in the warmer all day.
(Nothing against this brand, have no idea what's at the carts!)

I think the reason they are so popular is that you can get 2 dirty water dogs for $3 or $4. It is almost impossible to buy lunch for less than that in NY. We have a vendor outside of our building and he does a brisk business all year round.
