Make your best taco.

And it doesn't have to be mexican.

I put ever dang 'thang on a flour or corn tortilla.

Thats a taco.

Make a bigger taco.

Thats a burrito.

Its all good.

Ever had a brisket and egg breakfast taco?

How about a sun dried tomato, goat cheese, roasted garlic, pequin, and refried bean taco?

The rules are this.

Keep it flour or corn.

Home made or store bought.

If you post a pita taco I will like you but then unlike you.

And then probably still like you again if it looks really good.

Get crazy.

Lime cilantro chicken thighs with pequin powder.

I love pequins.

Flat topped.

Like a naval aircraft carrier.

And even more lime and cilantro.

In pintos and rice.

Roll it all up with some cheese and rock it!

The pics do no justice.

Those damn paper plates.

Give it to me!

Very few actual antique shops here anymore, maybe two or three in town. Leases on Main Street shops is so high, businesses have to be turning a serious profit to make it, or just be a tax write off (most places) .

I knew it.

I smelt it.

My mother.

And both my sisters.

Are contract killers.

If next week I get invited by the 3 of them to go meet up at Lubys.

I sure as hell ain't goin'.

mrs. blues bought a pound of 80/20 chuck.

She made 2 sliders in her Super Star Wars Teflon Chemical Poison Pan.

She doesn't eat leftovers.

Even uncooked beef.

Then I have the task of getting rid of it.

She will throw perfectly good ground beef in the trash.

Because the package was previously opened the night before.

Or some sheeit.

I don't bring it up into discussion.

Because I want to live.

And so.

We are here.

Leftover hamburger.

Corn tortillas.

Cilantro.

Limes.

Some other sheeit.

Hot stuff from parts unknown.

The package has been steaming away, since 9 AM. I've just got to make some pico de gallo, and unwrap this bad boy in a few hours.

The adobo was made with dried red hatch pods, and dried piquin pods. Rehydrated, then blended with 2 heads of garlic, one branch of fresh rosemary, and S&P.

My whole house smells like banana leaves, adobo, and lamb

I've been up since 5:30 and finally made it back home from setting up for a market. I saw a Tamale cart there and was starving but didn't have cash on me so I left but then had a craving for tacos. I rode around and checked the web for a taco place open besides taco bell but it was too far away so I settled for a bread taco Louisiana style from one of the oldest sandwich shops in Lafayette.
