chicken breast, ripe fresno(seeds saved), quac, black beans, onion, lettuce, shredded cheese and ranch. homemade refrigerator pickles with onion, garlic and serrano peppers and black olives on the side.
yeah we always get some south florida weather here in ct. it never lasts too long. our southern friends have to deal with it for so much longer.
Picadillo, jalas and onions pickled in lime juice & salt and home canned salsa from last summer.

It starts out like this
A couple 1/4lb links of local chorizo, some onion, some shallot, a Zapotec and a mystery pepper from the garden
A little over 2lbs of 85/15 ground beef. Greyed and semi drained of fat....not to worry the fat is being saved for refried beans.
Toss all dat back in da pan and get it a little more crispy
Toss in some Rotel tomatoes with green chiles, 4tbs of Spice Island taco seasoning, 1 tbs paprika, a dollop of panca paste (forgot it in the pic) and some water to simma.
Savin da other half of da onion till its almost done.
