Mata Frade, does anyone have any info??

nice grant glad to see that plant growing up soo fast!
how tall is it now? what size pot is it in? and is that another mata frade behind it?
do you have any idea what the fruit is supposed to look like or is the fruit done growing in those pics?(as far as size goes)
sorry soo many questions.

Hello Grant,
Great guy, this Mata Frade is an unknown Brazilian pepper, it comes from Amazonas state and as you know, Amazonas state is very far from where there are the most number of headchile in Brazil Southeast and South.
Fortunately, there is a headchille in our Brazilian forum cultivating this rarity with the promise to distribute some seeds for lovers of rarities.

Thanks Brito,
I have 2 plants growing now with 12 pods between them so far.
Time will tell if it is the Mata Frade....

Very beatiful plant JR.
Very similar looking plant to the Pimenta De Neyde. Looking forward to seeing some ripening Pods.

Here's just a couple more pics, not much change yet except for a few more pods;

Looking good, Grant! Tell me, are you also growing the Pimenta Morango?? I think it has a lot of similarities with this Mata Frade (and Brazilian Pimenta da Neyde, too)...
