Hey Boss, after our discussion the other day in the Berry Habanero Sauce thread maybe a Bagel TD would be fun to do sometime. Kind of like the Hot Dog TD it would be mostly about the toppings but their would be + points for those who made their own bagels or that could even be made a part of the competition.

I had actually bought Thomas' Everything Bagels for my Benedict recipe....but opted for the classic English muffin at the last minute.

I love bagels.

Bagels? Seriously? For a throwdown? Why not bread? Don't get me wrong, I like bagels, but I can't ever see it as a Throwdown.

Shoooooot.......

You being....well....YOU ought to create wonderful things with far less than a bagel. After all....you are the JayT.

;)

Thank you and I understand the idea of a blank canvas, but I think there are much better vehicles we can use for a throwdown.
I still vote for Asian.

Well my hood is the Jewish area in Victoria, actually I live (almost) next to the Australian Holocaust museum. So someone round here must know how to make a bagel or two.

and no I am not Jewish (except the little soldier ;) ).

Do asians eat pork rinds? I'm on a pork rind kick. Never really had em before now. Goes great with some hot sauce and a cold one.

Gotta get my pigskin on when football season is so far away.

In China, yes, and they serve them spicy. Also in the Philippines, they are called tsitsaron (for chicharon, of course).

yes sure do, I know for sure in Bali and Thailand they do

I think I might have uncorked a secret.

Somehow pork rinds will be in my dish, because I'm going for authenticity.

Do they like fritos too? Please Please Please?

Don't buy $100 worth of pork rinds yet!!! (100 bags)

Fun with P2K.
