My obsession with heat and food...JoynersHotPeppers

I have been a long time lurker and finally joined. I figured I'd start posting some of the things I cook or make with the peppers I grow.

First up

This is a Thai Cucumber salad I make with a rare Japanese cucumber I grow, peppers and cilantro are mine as well. I'll take better pictures with the next batch. I have enough stuff right now to do about 10 more 32oz jars.

Twins, both rubbed down with 2 different rubs and contain my 15 pepper blend.

Lobster roll with previous nights lobster leftovers. Contains one of my pepper blends.

Homemade lump crab cakes with black bean corn salsa I threw together. Cake have my tri-thai blend and 15 blend in the salsa.

Sausage and Peppers, Joyner style.

I agree, sexy grease loves the food and covers it to shine not like its unwanted cousin that floats to the top and gets in the way by cock blocking perfect bites...

What made them awesome was the peppers and onions were left over from the sausage above and had some amazing flavors!

you can take joyners powders and put them on anything and it turns out good, only one problem they do not come in 1lb shakers

So i scored a ton of fresh seafood from NC. Last night was sheepshead tacos and tonight will be some sort of shrimp dish. Thinking tomorrow is clawmeat crabcakes!

Sliders - Caramelized shallots with our Thai Blend, salt, pepper and Colby Jack cheese on toasted Martin's slider rolls.

Seriously epic, no idea why I ever eat out! So easy to treat oneself to good food at home for a fraction of the cost!!

Except for our once a month INO fix and the occasional queso & Tex-Mex at La Hacienda Ranch, mrs. blues and I just eat at home.
 
Of course I do ALL of the cooking & cleanup.
 
She is banned from The Blues Kitchen indefinitely.
 
Last time she cooked scrambled eggs she somehow managed to get them on the bottom of the pan.
 
Thats right, the bottom.
 
As in underneath.
