PaulG 2014

Grow List 2014 - Many new varieties and a few repeaters.
This is the third year of my original three year plan to grow a slew of different
types to see what grows well here before settling on some consistent performers.
I'd love to grow some of the new varieties from this season again, and some more
of my favorites from 2012, but not enough space.  But I have seed for my favorites for
season 2015, so I have something to look forward to already!

Major goal for season 2014 - lay in a good supply of super hot powder!

Just a quick update on the wild Texas Tepins.  This one has the most ripe pods; all will have to go to the greenhouse when and if I need space for starts in party cups:

Thanks for the OB report Paul... may your tribe and your camels always increase... ;)

The starts in your pics look great brother, too bad we've both got such limited space and lots of starts, but at least you've got some neighbors who can pick up the slack. Is this your first year growing wilds too?

My pleasure, Rick.
\o_ Hats off to you for setting the glogster bar this season!

I'm hoping not to have to resort to giving away plants at
freeway off ramps

I have grown Tepins and Goat's Weed, and a Bird Pepper
of some kind Shane sent in 2012.  But this is my first year
for some of the more notorious varieties.

Good grown', my friend!

The wonder of the internet, J!
Did those seeds ever find their way to you?

Is that all the pics you got??? Weak…    You crack me up, Shane!

Those Tepins are stunning and your starts look about perfect!
Thanks, my friend!  Just letting nature do it's thing   ;)
It will be interesting to see how the Tepins do this summer.

Funny you should mention pictures, buddy.   You THP folk
are insatiable     But I thought that since the round Two
plants are at six weeks old more or less a series of individual
shots was in order.  So, without further doodoo...

The days since hooking are shown.  The ones that say 50 or 49 days should say 43 days.  Senior moment     :

This one has forked, and you can see a flower at the node:

The stems on most of these are quite thick:

Nice branches forming down low on this one:

This is actually a Round Three plant:

Lots of nice compact growth, stout stems, good coloration.
You've got a bunch of winners.
That Wild Brazil looks like a mother hen when a bunch of chicks.
I bet you could clone those little shoots in a heart beat.
You know, if you needed some more plants.

LOVE the pics Paul! Especially the wild brazil. Did you do anything to encourage that or did the plant just habituate that way on its own? Also, what software are you using to label your photos? Love the composition.

Looking awesome Paul. The wild Brazil is way branchy!
That's one of my favorites, Jason!  Thanks for the great seed, brothah!

Wow, really great progress! I gotta go back and study your methods. I've got plants older than yours that are 1/4th the size!
Thanks, John.  I have to credit the lights and soil for the great growth.
I have some that are smaller, too, as you will see in the last two pics.

Here are some more from the grow shelf.

Both of the NagaBrains are from F2 seed Gary sent:

This one struggled a bit with some early leaf yellowing, but now seems to be in better spirits.
Will be interesting to see what this generation is like:

Cloning is close to my heart; I just don't have any place
to put more plants!

Thanks, Adam.  The Wild Brazil has just grown that way
on it's own.  Should be a great looking plant.

I'm using Photoshop Elements 8, but any version will work.
Most photo editing software have text capability.

Awesome updates Paul!! You have a bunch of very healthy looking plants there. Outstanding!!
Those mystery crosses look like they are coming away very nicely. Very similar looking so far ... Will be interested to see how the pods shape up .... I will post a photo of the current f1 pod I have growing ... Because you will likely have the first f2 pod to compare it to

The Wild Texas Tepins are coming to the end of their grow season.
My theory is that they should drop a lot of leaves and shed a few
branches and then start to grow out again:

I have more greenhouse and grow shelf pics if I can get a nudge.
Those tepins are some nice looking plants.  Good glog going here, Paul!

Thanks, my friend!  I wish I had room for more of the crosses.  It would
be nice to have at least two of each going.  Maybe we'll be lucky!  Will
be interested in the photo of the F1 pod.

Thanks, mate.  Can't take much credit, though - mother
nature just sort of does her own thing!

Hope you are winding down a successful season in Oz.

Great looking pics, Paul.  You've got some really interesting varieties going.  Can hardly wait for pods.

Hi Paul .. Long time no talk to ! Nice GLOG has tons of stuff as usual. Glad o see you're still at it . Looks like you've perfected your craft !

Paul..I'm jealous....your plants look  great !....and for only a month and a half. The MoA shows signs of being a strong performer. That will fork out and provide many node sections. Keep up the Good Grow......looking forward to the plants progression and your nifty photo skills...
