PaulG 2014

Grow List 2014 - Many new varieties and a few repeaters.
This is the third year of my original three year plan to grow a slew of different
types to see what grows well here before settling on some consistent performers.
I'd love to grow some of the new varieties from this season again, and some more
of my favorites from 2012, but not enough space.  But I have seed for my favorites for
season 2015, so I have something to look forward to already!

Major goal for season 2014 - lay in a good supply of super hot powder!

Just a quick update on the wild Texas Tepins.  This one has the most ripe pods; all will have to go to the greenhouse when and if I need space for starts in party cups:

Seeds and things are on Amazon heavily...They are a bit off on their Jamaican seeds from what I have heard.
I've never even checked them out before this.
My buddy's friend sent him the seeds for his b-day.
Nice looking list and some good rates too.

Continued success!!!
Thanks, brother Jason Jeff (senior moment, my apologies
to both of you, and thanks to Devv for clueing me in!  The
hazards of serial posting!)

Best wishes for health and happiness in the new year.

Paul...those wild Brazils are more accurately called Bird Ajis...if you are able to get some seeds from it I would be in your debt brother! I have some true "Wild Brazils" I got from Jason which are a Chinense very close to the Charapita with a slightly different color and shape but growth habit of both were spot on...and between 800 and 1000 tiny pods a week off each  ...I can send seeds for each of those if you like.

Paul,

You're going to be busy this season with that list!
You're right, Scott!  But that's a good thing.
Being 67 and retired, I need something to
make me feel like I'm still useful

Thanks for clarifying again for me, Shane.  In any case, they
are great little peppers.  I have had a hard time germing them
the past two times, but will give them another try after the 1st
with the Jiffies and heat mat.  That might make a difference!

I made a great powder with the Birds and some Tepins - very
tasty and warm, and a beautiful color!!

I have some dried pods from the Bird Aji and the Wild Texas
Tepins, I will send you a few of each, and if I have some of
your original BA seed, I'll send those, too.  I also have a few
from the Tepin cross you sent, so will include those.

I'd love some of the two varieties you mentioned!  I've been intrigued
by the Charapita as I've run across it on the forum!  Thanks, brother.
I need to beef up my wild collection!

I'll get your seeds out right away!  Lots of good vibes coming your way!

Thanks, Jacobus!  Your own grow is progressing quite nicely - way to
get those babies in the dirt!  Nowhere to go but up, now!

Yup what Shane said. I got some from him and dang!! I loved that flavor on the wild brazil, the charapita had less flavor and heat IMO, but both are awesome and they're nice plants too.

Nice score on the Aerogarden! Welcome to the club! I have 3 and I'm about to take them out to play a lil bit ;) LOL.

If you need advice or help lmk I been doing and trying stuff with it ;). Have fun!

Thanks, brother Walt!  I can probably use the advice!  I'll
be checking your glog to see what you do with them!  They
look like lots of fun, for sure

Have a great weekend, buddy!

BTW awesome pic of you as a young man
Seriously, I like the profile pic, bro!  Looking
good, my friend!

Pods and seeds.  Seeds and pods.  Is there anything else?

My grow is going to be harder to control now.  Here's why; some great
seeds from WalkGood!  Thanks, Ramon; these are awesome, brah!:

GaGrowhead has been workin' overtime!  Check out this passel o' pods:  Chocolate Bhuts, 7 Pot Barrackpore #2,
PI-441598 cross, Ga Black dried pods, Purple Tiger and some Wild Texas Tepin.  Jason, you are too awesome!
_DSC1065a_zps8f4ac8ca.jpg

As if the pods weren't enough, and choices weren't difficult enough, Jason included a full rack of seed packets!
Awesome varieties, every one, and great labels, to boot!  This will keep my grow hoppin' for a long time!  Thanks,
GA, this is over the top!:

Great haul man! Jason seems to have you covered with seeds hahah! How are you gonna use the pods?
Yes, indeed, Jason's a THP classic!  I'lll probably powder them,
send some out (pods and powders), and leave some dried form.
I often wonder if there is a market for deseeded and dried pods.
I have a lot from this year's harvest.

Thanks for the visit, Adam!

Hey, brother, you are a gem, my friend.
Very kind of you to send awesome seedage \o_!
Folk like you are what make THP special to me.

Happy New Year, Ramon!

Wow. You got  new seeds there. Like your new ultra. Makes me want to get one.

You won't be disappointed. Welcome to the aero club. I made my own starter tray kit. Just find some styrofoam. And make holes. Simple. Gonna make mine with large enough holes to put net baskets. Good luck

And thanks for the powders.

Paul, out of the four brown pods on the left, the most bottom one with the dimple on the tip is a brown mystery pod. That plant is either a douglah cross or a choc bhut cross from my saved seeds. Earlier season pods were insanely bumpy. Neat pods. Just saw it and remember I added in that box. The Ga black pods make awesome powder. Very unique taste and smell. When you crack one open you will be able to tell.
Happy Last Sunday of the year!

The price wasn't right, but an improvement!  If you and Jericson didn't have such
great results, I probably would not have sprung that kind of change loose!

Thanks for the tip, Denniz!  I'll probably stick with Jiffies and seedling mix for this
season, but next time, the aero will get a try at germinating.

And thanks for the powders.  The pleasure is all mine, brothah!
Happy New Year to you and your famiy!

Yeah, it was here in like 5 days!  In spite of the fact that the shipping
business just got plain crazy for the Christmas holiday!  I'll be gleaning
tips from you throughout the season!

Happy New Year!

Thanks, Jason, I didn't even notice it was a little different than the others!
Douglah or Choco Bhut, it should be awesome!  I will definitely powder the
Ga Black pods; what species is it?

Yeah, the year is just about toast, isn't it!
