I guess we can all relate to that. Only now I think plants started to grow. They were stunted by the cold nights, some got aphids so... let's hope to a better weather from late june on.
Keep your head up Paul. Your peppers look good.
Thanks for the good vibe, Uros!

Glad to hear that your peppers are
starting to come around.

Still a long season to go. We hope. My weather is good if the wind will stop
That’s right, Joe. Gotta keep that in mind for sure.

Once we dry out a bit, I will hit the plants with
a shot of Fish fertilizer and Si Blast to get them
going again.

Hope you get out from under the pesky wind
sooner rather than later. Funny, I always think
of SoCal as an ideal growing zone!

So cal is close to ideal, some areas that is. you can go snow skiing and surfing in the same day here. Lots of variations in the weather. Where I am it's mostly just hot and dry. Winter is pretty mild, but cold enough tho kill off peppers. Here every time you have rain we have wind... ok not that often. I figure the plants just gotta be strong and deal with it.

Joe, are you close to Poway? Stc3248 used to
keep his plants warm under nursery pots with
Christmas lights when the cold nights hit.

I'm glad you don't have wind as often as we
have rain! That would leave you with bare stalks
sticking up out of the ground

Poway is about 100 miles south of me. Down that close to san Diego is gonna be a little better growing area than where I am. Poway is zone 9- 10. I'm in 8b, not far off

Some of the three-gallon part of my grow,

Yellow Mushroom from Don’t Panic (seed train),  Haskorea from Bryan,
Piment de Espelette from Semillas la Palma.
The second and third have triple forks:

More from the 3-gallon section.

CGN24360, BB Habanero from catchthebear.
Dropped a ton of leaves, but a couple of ripe pods, and lots
of new growth. We need some sun to get this one going:

Looks good Paul.  That USDA Cardi is doing awesome!  Mine not so good yet.  I'm in the process of trying to get some updated photos posted.
Hope your June suck is over!
Thanks, Ty. The Cardi is def one of the
bright spots so far.

Hopefully weather will take a turn for
the better on Wednesday this week.
Just a couple of more days of rain and
clouds, according to the forecast. We
are a lot above average for precipitation
this month.

The Chili Costa Rica from The Hippy Seed Co.
has been putting out some new growth despite
the June Suck. Even ripening up happening on
a few of the pods. It should really take off when
we get some sun!

Costa Rica Orange? I have a small plant, but the leaves are not as dark... Actually, they are more like the dark green ones with a purple fringe. Lack of (direct) sunlight? I will recheck my plant tomorrow.

These pods are not fully ripe yet. They will
end up bright red if it ripens like the last
specimen I grew.

Thanks, Scott. The pods don't taste that great.
They have a little heat, but are great for powder.
Very seedy. Probably sold more as an
ornamental.
