Our resident Bald Eagle was circling above our house, so I thought I should grab the camera.
Kind of blurry, but she was flying and I was moving.

We've just returned from vacationing in a cabin on Watauga Lake in the
mountains of Tennessee. We've had some wonderful vacations from here
to Vancouver, Canada and back and I can say that this was one of my top
favorites ones ever.

After riding the Virginia Creeper Trail, we then drove to Grassy Creek, North Carolina
for a few nights in an awesome geodesic dome cabin.

Nice Pics Gassy! I hope that wasn't your car in the flood!

I walked across the 40 acre field to get a closer look at the Eagle's nest.
Here's what I saw...

Gassy, what/where are the landscape pics of? The rain and cloud pic is pretty cool.

Scovie, that is a money shot with the mom and chick.

Cheers, Scovie! Nice shots yourself!

You really got a thing for that eagle, don't you? :P Haha. I can't talk... I'm the same. When I want a photo of something, I'm getting that photo, dammit!

The photo of the car was taken out the front of my place during the Brissy floods last year, but no, thankfully the car was not mine. I was very blessed and only lost a bit of junk I had in the garage.

Come to think of it, I saw quite a few cars around the place sitting in the water. Insurance jobs I'm guessing...

Fancy a dip in the underground carpark at my local supermarket?

They actually found a car down there when the water subsided too!

SL, the photo of the rain was taken at Mapleton--on the Sunshine Coast--in Queensland. The second photo was taken from Bare Rock (a rocky outcrop on the Main Ranges--roughly 116 km south-west of Brisbane).
