We left you in the dark so one of us would have a chance!!! Joking aside.... I meant to pm you yesterday to let you in on this. My day took a turn and I did not have time to do a thing. Then I became photobucket's bitch and didn't get the pic in I wanted too. Thank you Scovie for including my photo!
My vote has to go to Sum, you Bit you, takes you know what to go Black and White, but true skillz to make it work and Bro you did it. Great job framing the shot and balancing thesubject versus the background. I really like how how you set the back to a gray scale as opposed to just using White. I'm assuming that you used a flash to set the shadows and highlight the shine on the peppers. Overall, great job Sum!

Nope, no flash. It was a halogen spotlight with the camera on a tripod set in timer mode. Had to shoot in full manual, metering on the black area and dropping the shutter speed accordingly to make sure it came out black. Still had to bring it into photoshop to get the right contrast. I even went back and added a bit more contrast to my original photo after posting my entry, and made it even better.
