SalsaKid & Salsalady eat...a REAL BHUT!

thanks y'all...

the kid is getting stage fright because we are all reading comments and he doesn't know who they are coming from. Kinda freaked out by getting comments from people he doesn't know.

But that's OK. We'll just read things to him.

Thanks for the posts, and there are more to come.

The last of the Pepper Ridge Farm selection-
GUADALOUPE BLACK!

Someone told me they weren't that hot...don't remember who it was, so it was a bit of a surprise! Here ya go~

After the video was off, 'dude was hurting a little. He said his throat felt like it was swelling shut. I also felt like my tongue was swollen. Weird reaction, first time we had that sensation.

The next day, 'kid and I concocted a little hot sauce with the leftover bits of the Guadaloupe Black chile, never did get 'dude to try it- LOL.

SL... you and SKid are hard core. WOW. You guys have guts and my total admiration. My glasses fogged up just watching that. Bring pods and seeds to the party!

C'addict- the pods were from Pepper Ridge Farm, and that was the last 2 peppers of that batch. We will definitely bring whatever we have from the pepper patch to share the LUV!

And Wasatch.....BE CAREFUL, amigo! Them's some sneaky peppers...

Wasatch got some Bih Jolokia peppers from another member, and sent some to us to play around with. First thing was to taste the chiles, so once again, out to the pepper porch for some fun!

This one hit the kid in the stomach pretty hard. He got cramps right away and after the video was off, felt like he was going to hurl. That bih was enough that he won't try the next one up...the 7 POD!

I don't know why, but I have a knack for choosing the pepper that is oozing with oil. After the video we cut open 4 more pods and none of them had near the oil in them that the one we tasted had.

The bih left a burn in the mouth for a good 30 minutes. Wasatch ate 2 of them (see his taste tests posts) and handled them much better than we did. Wasatch, You Da Man!

Here you go~

Another classic. You guys should start your own reality show. As usual, Salsakid took it better than 99% of the human race. Good show Salsalady.

Aren't those just SOOOO YUMMY! I actually really like them. Also, really enjoying your video posts...Keep up the good work ;)

Thanks for the comments.

The kid had a bad evening with his tummy, don't know why that one set him off so bad, but he's OK now. Just not up for trying anymore superhots right away.

He still loves the peach habanero though, so that's good.

this is the best video so far!

wow, salsakid's worst and most entertaining expression ever! lol.

makes me wanna grow those! =D

You guys are pure comedy. Salsakid takes it like a man, but when is he going to learn how damn painful these things are, and let you do it alone? LOL.
Where exactly do you buy all of your peppers? I'd love to be able to buy a bunch of different varieties without having to buy lots and lots of peppers. Maybe only 2-3 of each kind, but like 6-10 different kinds.

franz- I have 4 Douglah plants growing in the pepper patch and each time I water them, I ask myself "why?!?"

This has been SO MUCH fun but after tasting the few that we have tasted, so I would say GROW and some I would say NO GROW. At any rate, they are a lot of fun and a great "experience".

Thanks, BTH, we're glad you enjoy them. The peppers are mostly from Pepper Ridge Farm. He's had some superhots for sale recently, but I don't know if any are still available. It's been a "when-they're-fresh-come-and-get-them" offer from Cappy.

And the last Bih jolokia did the kid in at least temporarily. It really hit his gut, not a happy camper.

HSL,You brighten my day with these videos!!!
My Pleasure, amigo! Actually, there hasn't been a whole lot of pleasure in these tastings, so I don't know what the heck I mean by THAT!

Just glad you enjoy them and get a laugh.
