Hey Paul.  I was thinking about you the other day for some reason.  I can't remember.  Vacay is just OK.  There is a weather system here that is making it a very wet vacay so far.  But its good to get out of NJ and someplace not too hot to relax.  Good to see you my friend.

I decided rain or shine, I am hitting the beach tomorrow.  I am in Kissimmee and its not to far of a drive.  About 45 mins to Cocoa Beach so Thats where I will be.  :woohoo:

That's so funny because I spent a few days in my family port of call so to speak, Greensboro, and was thinking about Annie the entire time. I should have hit her up but I was limited for time as I had to get back to work. I only took one pic but I am an Instagram addict. I took lots of 15 sec vids and pics of the vacay on Instagram. If you wanna see em my Instagram is Sanarda. I'm so addicted I forgot to take pics for the yearly vacay album on Facebook and for the computer. Pics of the garden coming soon. And the hubby only killed about seven of the little guys I had at the house out of maybe fifty. I hope the ones I only had one or two of still survived. We will see tomorrow

Wow, great updates Pia ... I think you'll have a lot of pods in a few weeks. Not sure which vid but I'd swear I saw a hornworm egg on the top of a naga leaf. I'd inspect them just in case. Have a great weekend :)

I think you need some more Black Naga's.....hey it's my favorite pod! Love em' want some more of em'

Great vids Pia Mia, that's a lot of weeding.....I might have just let it play out if it were me....lol I used straw this year and it kept 95% of the weeds out. I love it and will def. be doin it again next year.

Nice updates, Pia.  I think my favorite is the Lolita; that's a really pretty plant.  And yeah, weeds can really take over when you go away for awhile.  Good save.

I hate clay!!!!...but you know what to do now. Enrich.You can also conserve good soil usage in clay by cheating a little, plant in 3-5 gallon pot with good soil dig a hole
half as deep as the pot-a little wide at the bottom where your drain holes are...toss a layer of good soil down(an inch or so. Set the pot in the hole,add some more good stuff to cover the holes,then fill the rest in with the local mean clay. Its enough cover to keep the pot from getting to hot(bad),there is room for roots to sneak out
and the clay retains lots of moisture, and you don't spend a fortune on dirt to amend your whole garden volume.
 
Looks like you have enough heat to for your sake even if the clay stays ....

A fish pepper and a choc Hab with Romy's powder and two of my half a bushel DC crabs. Yummmmm
