I tried some new(to me) Maruchan FIRE YAKISOBA Spicy Beef noodles.

Presentation of the noodles, and flavor packets, the spice packet is larger than normal.

I usually put the flavor stuff in the bottom, and add a bunch of honey.

Here it is with the water up to the "line".

And, as usual I can't ever leave anything as it is. So I thin sliced a 1/4 lb beef hot dog to add in.

Cooked in the microwave on high for (3) two minute sessions, mixing each time.

It turned out awesome, and this one IS pretty darn spicy. I think one more upgrade would be to use a smoked hotdog.

MAN-O-MAN, I guess I really got slack on this thread. Anyway, here's the Kossak Kohlrabi that I picked today.
Properly skinned.

I cut it into large chunks and pushed it through the french fry cutter.

I mixed up some brine and..........we have about 3 1/2 pints of spicy/sweet kohlrabi pickles.

I should know sometime next week if they're good or not.

I'm going to end these two ferments today and buzz up some sauce.

And, as a follow up, the pickled kohlrabi is awesome. I will be making more.
Also, I had a couple of cabbage heads split last week so I made pickled cabbage out of them. Also yummy.

I got the sauce cooked, blended, and bottled. I made some of each type and some with a 50/50 mix of the two. They all taste pretty darn good so I suppose it won't last long.
