The first ripe fig off of my small fig tree. There will not be a huge harvest of figs as there are only 5 fruits on the tree.

Update on my Miracle Fruit seedling. The first one up is doing well and now two more have sprouted! These are in seed starting coir rinsed through with ph 4.0 water. I just started feeding them about a week ago.

It is just branching like that. They emerge like a little stick like the other 2  in that group. Then they get a couple of leaves and after that the branching began from the base. ‍

An update on the Miracle Fruit seedlings. Nothing happens fast with these. Here is a pic of the first that I planted. I planted them close to the way the so called online experts said it had to be done with ph adjusted water and medium.
 

 
As I have mentioned several times in the past, you need not do as the experts state. Here are some more Miracle Fruit that I planted in Florida top soil/sand and sat on a table in the shade getting soaked with rain water every time it rained. They were in a mesh bottom tray so they could always drain. These germinated in about half the time as the first ones. 
 

 
And a couple that have proven to be Sponge Worthy. I used water adjusted to 4.0 for these. They were planted in between the previous two bunches.

On another topic I’m starting to get some ripe Tomatoberries, from your seed [emoji106][emoji16]. They are the first maters to ripen.

Pineapples are getting ripe. Already picked and ate half of the one in the first pic. Really sweet.

I picked all of the Key Limes off of my small tree yesterday. 
 

 
The fruits weighed out to 2 pounds 5 ounces.
 

 
I then cut them up and quartered them after cutting them in half.
 

 
Now, getting down to business. Squeezing them through the little juicer.
 

 
The end result, one and a half pints unadulterated Key Lime juice and the tailings.
 

 
Time for Key Lime Pie!

I planted some Kossak Kohlrabi seeds on 08/11, they are coming up this morning. Three days on the table in my screen porch. I will wait a few days and then move them to the shade house.

The large kohlrabi types(Kossak, Super Schmelz, etc) are heavy feeders once they get going and those types do best for me in a 5 gal bucket.

The Kassak Kohlrabi are growing fast under the shade cloth. Four more days since the last look. I think I might separate them later today.

I planted my Miracle Fruit plant in ground so we will have to see how that goes.
 

 
So far I have planted the seeds from that one young plant and now have 36 seedlings at various stages. Here are a few of them.
