Ashen, where did you get that cut!
A Portuguese grocery store I go to for their meat counter. 84' of awesome . And if it isn't in the counter you just have to ask or call ahead and they will cut pretty much anything for you. They were sold out of a cut I wanted once and the butcher asked if could wait a few mins. He went in the cooler pulled a side out and broke it down right then to get me what I wanted. Aside from Costco there is only one other regular grocery store that still cuts there own meat around here.

There are lots of little specialty butchers opening up around now , but the prices are at least 2-3 times as expensive as Di Pietro with a much more limited selection.

Top sirloin cap (picanha) large flake kosher salt , fresh cracked black pepper while cooking. Mine got some powder before slicing.

Rigged the skewers to give a bit of elevation after getting some marks.

Creamy broccoli cauliflower salad, shrimp dill salad, tortellini "antipasto " pasta salad

just happened to pop into this thread, we've been enjoying some awesome steaks also...

And I had to laugh at Ashen's post...

What's up with all the SALADS???  Ya feeling guilty about all that awesome fatty meat stuff?

  I'm just kidding with ya, The tortellini pasta salad counts as a starch, and the broc/cauli counts as 2 veggies, shrimp is a 2nd protein...

  Well Done!!!!
