Sorry 'bout the glitch... still learning how to use my new "smart" phone. Sometimes it seems like it's smarter than me...
I'm very happy with the air-pots Randy. They're made from recycled plastic milk jugs and they're very durable, easy to clean and sterilize, and get great results.randyp said:Note to self"AIR POTS"very cool root development, Rick.Dirt day should be just days away buddy. That huge dipped Upper Low weather system just missed me and headed to you..

Understood... Nobody gets everything they want instantly. We've all gotta work for it. If/when you do get any air-pruning pots, be aware that the plants in them will require more water due to the increased evaporation caused by the increased surface area of the pots, and more feeding to support the accelerated root growth and the plant growth that goes with it. Drip emitters on a timed irrigation setup are ideal for "fire- and-forget" watering but surface watering works just fine if you take the time to get the potting soil thoroughly wet. You can't overwater with them because the excess just runs back out.tsurrie said:Nice plants Rick.
If I wouldnt already have so much pots, I'd certainly go for those airpots. Maybe in a few years.
S'right brother, very generous indeed. [emoji2]OCD Chilehead said:Can't wait to see the Forbing Nagas in full bloom.
I really want to fire up the Aerogarden for them and the Bonda Mahala. Gary's pride and joy. Very generous of him to share.

S'right brother! I ran out of time last night, but today after work the chiles hit the dirt. [emoji271] [emoji2]randyp said:You're on the launch pad, Rick. The plant's under row cover means it won't be long buddy.
Cheers Uros, and hoping for the same for you. It's time to get this show on the road! [emoji106]tsurrie said:Good work Rick.
Here's to some warm weather, cheers!
Cheers Scott! I transplanted the bulk of my chiles into their final home in the raised bed behind the house. The rest are spare Forbing Nagas that look so good that I'm having a hard time letting go of them. LOL! I think I'll keep two or three in #7 air-pots and then see how it goes.Devv said:Alright brother! Plants in the dirt!
And I see you buried the tom's; they won't disappoint!
Keep it going!
