I'm very happy with the air-pots Randy. They're made from recycled plastic milk jugs and they're very durable, easy to clean and sterilize, and get great results.

I'm less happy with the weather pattern but we should be on the other side of it by Thursday night. Cheers!

It looks like the Forbing Nagas are pulling into the lead as my biggest growers so far. Nice to see them blossoming too... Can't wait to get them in the ground once the weather cooperates!

Understood... Nobody gets everything they want instantly. We've all gotta work for it. If/when you do get any air-pruning pots, be aware that the plants in them will require more water due to the increased evaporation caused by the increased surface area of the pots, and more feeding to support the accelerated root growth and the plant growth that goes with it. Drip emitters on a timed irrigation setup are ideal for "fire- and-forget" watering but surface watering works just fine if you take the time to get the potting soil thoroughly wet. You can't overwater with them because the excess just runs back out.

Well it didn't quite get down to feezing last night. It's 35 degrees at 6am. One more night at about the same tempetature and the Nightshades hit the dirt here! They've hardened off nicely and should hit the ground running. [emoji2]
I'll hedge my bets and leave the low row cover in place until we start getting night-time lows consistently in the upper 50s.

Hi all! Just got finished transplanting my tomatoes and eggplants outside and setting up a low row cover over them. It's supposed to get down to 38 tonight. I also under-sowed with Dutch White Clover beneath the 'Maters. Still put IRT plastic mulch under the Eggplants to keep their feet warm. [emoji2]

Cheers Scott! I transplanted the bulk of my chiles into their final home in the raised bed behind the house. The rest are spare Forbing Nagas that look so good that I'm having a hard time letting go of them. LOL! I think I'll keep two or three in #7 air-pots and then see how it goes.
