Nice money shot of the Ulupica Pubes. It looks like it'd be a good inclusion to a peach or pineapple salsa. Is that the average size of its pods?
Thanks Rick, I would say yes to average size. the one by my thumb was the largest pod on the plant.  so I don't think they will get any bigger. Hopefully they turn yellow again next year at F5, as the pods the seed came from were red.

overall I am happy with the growth, it could be better it could be worse. Almost all plants seem to be doing well with a few just about 5ft from the ground. Couple of the rows have gone from walking down them to crawling down them..lol

No fertilizer was harmed in the process  ;)

Thanks gents^^

1010 the water rolls off the solar mulch it doesn't go through it. next year I will probably put down soaker hose. I leave a space big enough around base of plant so I can water with a sprinkler head attached to my hose.

Also hard to tell but I have the whole garden set up on a slight slope so when it rains the water runs down both sides of the garden and into each row.

Some more random pics from this morning-

your garden is beautiful! is there a method to your staking?
I've been hit pretty hard by winds this year...
Thank you.  My method of staking was buy 300 bamboo poles and  jam them in on each side of every pepper plant and one or two in the middle that I tie plants to with butchers twine.  I try to put them on the sides where the tallest branches are that way when the wind blows they are kind of cradled in among the poles. When the branches start to get weighed down with pods I will tie them to poles with more butchers twine.  I will probably pick up another 100 or so this weekend and that should be enough for the rest of the season.

Cheers

I do similar, do you just pick them up at a garden center or do you order online?

This makes me laugh, at work they call me the computer Nazi. Said in worst Oriental accent "hawwwwe you forget you password? coss you 5 dollar!" I actually had a teacher get mad at me one day for saying that.  Ok I guess you had to be there..

Seriously, a very nice grow! You need to cut those plants down right now as you're making me look bad! LOL

I'm really glad things are kicking it up your way. Good job this year! It won't be long before you're picking loads of pods.

Keep it green!

Yeah, that's my experience with the solar mulch too. That's why I have drip hose underneath. If you can get the drip irrigation hooked up to a hose timer, it's the closest thing to a "Fire-and-forget" garden I've ever seen.

You're getting truly epic results D! Every time you post pics it just gets better. Cheers!

Thanks for all the love folks ^^^ it is a true labor of love

End of August I think I will be going crazy with what to do with all the peppers haha

You said it perfectly; "A labor of love".

That's exactly how I feel about it; great down time working the soil and enjoying the growth process. What better medicine for the brain in today's hi-paced life styles running around out there...

Tons of peppers at the end is just a bonus
